Positive: my favorite place in sri lanka! this beautiful family that owns this place are so nice, hepld me with everything I needed and made me feel like arrived home. the room is very comfortable and thier garden is absolutely beautiful, some mornings you can see monkeys up on the trees, they are located a bit inside from the main road so you have a quiet place but only 5 minutes walk from the main road of midigama and everything you'll need. I stayed for a week and came back again for my last week in sri lanka. thank you so much for having me I'll definitely come back again 🤍

Positive: The room is good. Hosts are very friendly.
Negative: Bathroom needs some renovation to meet the same level as the bedroom. Keep in mind that the accommodation is very close to the train tracks which means you hear and feel the trains also at night.

Positive: The place is tucked behind the main coastal road (about 4 mins) and you have to go what seems to be in the jungle to arrive. The family hosting are lovely, very helpful in answering any questions and booking cars/tuktuks etc. The room I stayed in looked new - it was large and decorated beautifully.
Negative: They only accepted cash unfortunately, which I didn't know when I booked, and probably not ideal for those staying for longer periods. It's situated just behind the train tracks so some may find this a bit disturbing, but honestly it's really not bad. I actually found it very charming :)

Positive: We loved the balcony overlooking the garden, especially in the morning to see all the wildlife. We spotted monkeys, mongoose and birds most mornings. The room was spacious and AC was good.
Negative: Just worth mentioning the stairs to the upper floor and the terrace hasnt got any railings and would be unsafe for young kids.
Summary: Beautiful settings away from the busy main road.

Positive: Beautiful property set in an absolute oasis of a location. Yes, it’s near the train tracks and you will hear trains bit that’s Midigama and you soon get used to it. Manjala, Danika & their family are absolute gems and made us feel so welcome. I honestly can’t recommend this place highly enough! It’s a great location only a 2 minute walk to several restaurants and Ram’s surf break. 10 minute walk to Coconuts and Plantations surf breaks and 5 mins to Lazy Left.
Negative: Loved everything.
Summary: Perfect location, lovely spacious room and the best hosts you could wish for.
