Positive: I appreciate the apartment we booked in Paris. We really liked its excellent location in the heart of the city, with close access to several metro stations. The apartment was well-equipped with all the necessary furniture and appliances, and the placement of power outlets in all the right spots was especially convenient for three people. The host was responsible and responsive, which we truly appreciated — though unfortunately, the same cannot be said about the staff servicing the apartment.

Negative: The bedding issue was extremely frustrating and stressful. We were three guests, and even before check-in, we repeatedly requested three duvets. Unfortunately, during our entire 10-day stay, only two duvets were provided for three people. Another very unpleasant and stressful issue was related to the cleanliness of the bedding. While one bed was made with clean sheets, the second bed was not. The bedding for it was wrinkled, clearly used, and placed inside the wardrobe in an unsanitary condition — we even found a hair in it. We contacted the cleaning staff, explaining that the bedding was dirty. Initially, they insisted it was clean, and only after we sent them photos did they agree to replace it — but only the following morning. As a result, I had to sleep one night on the couch without proper bedding, which was simply unacceptable. Also, upon arrival, the hygiene supplies were very poor. For example, the toilet paper was almost used up, and we had to buy more the same day. We also had to purchase dishwashing sponges and liquid, napkins, and cleaning cloths, as none of these were provided. The host required a €250 deposit in case of damage to the property, but who compensates the guest for the stress of having to sleep in used bedding for a night?

Summary: A great location in the heart of Paris, but unfortunately let down by a lack of cleanliness.
