Positive: The pool was a big hit. The breakfast was really good. Hot and cold options. Cereal, waffles, eggs, sausage, muffins, toast, yogurt.. really good but you have to be there at 7am for the grits and biscuits as we got there at 8 and no more was offered. The staff were very friendly and polite. I had a clogged toilet in the middle of the night. They did take a while to come but the front desk guy did plunge it and got it back working. The location was great as it was close to everything, especially the mall! Overall a better stay than most hotels on here.
Negative: The elevator wasn’t the cleanest and was always wet from the pool. I understand the reason but it was entirely too much water. Someone could have slipped and hurt themselves. Hotel is in major need of an update as everything is broken. Elevators closest to my room was out and the ice machine on my floor was broken. If you have small kids, beware.. there’s a lot of smoking weed there. Not sure if it was my stay or these people live there because they were still there when I left and it was a Sunday. They were all in the lobby smelling as if they bathe in weed. Not my circus, not my monkeys. I was there to enjoy my daughter’s birthday. Booking needs to send people to test these hotels out, because this is my second not so good experience!! The first one was more uncomfortable than this one. I won’t stay again.. or book on booking!!
