From the manicured patio to the supple bed linens, we have worked hard to make this place the perfect home away from home. Tucked in the heart of historic downtown Savannah, this home still feels like a cozy escape. The house has been newly renovated and decorated to highlight its historic features like artistic crown molding and timeless hardwood floors. We have all the modern amenities such as central air and a fully stocked kitchen with added details to make your stay extra special.
Our house, built in the 1800's, has been remodeled to include modern amenities while still highlighting its historical features. The home is conveniently all on one floor. The living area is in the front with huge french doors opening onto the sprawling front porch. The kitchen is fully stocked, and when we say fully stocked, what we mean is that we have all of the cookware, utensils and appliances that we would want in our own kitchen. In the back of the house you will find both bathrooms and both bedrooms. The bedrooms were designed with comfort in mind: big beds that you can fall right into, ample pillows and thoughtful places for you to keep your things. In the bathrooms, we've gone the extra mile to cover all of your individual needs. The back of the house opens onto another furnished deck which overlooks the huge, green, manicured patio.
We've set up the house so that it is comfortable, beautiful and covers all of your needs and more! If there is anything else you need, we will help you find it. We want our property to feel like your home away from home and the perfect southern escape!

We are always reachable by phone or message and strive to make sure someone can be there within 30 minutes if there is ever an issue.
Our property is located in beautiful Historic Downtown Savannah. All of the food, shopping and sites are walking distance or a very quick drive. The neighborhood is clean and inviting with plenty of manicured parks to explore, unique shops to experience, and fine restaurants to try. A major Savannah attraction, Forsyth Park, is a mere 3 blocks away. There is a grocery store conveniently located 2 blocks from the house and one of our favorite little bakeries is steps from the house.
We provide our guests with a welcome book upon check-in which highlights some of our favorite dining experiences and attractions. We are happy to provide recommendations for anything else you want or need while you are visiting.
Historic Downtown Savannah feels big but remains small, thus most destinations are walkable. If you prefer to drive, street parking and parking garages are readily available. If you prefer to ride, we suggest you try the free shuttle that comes every 10 minutes and will give you a tour of the entire downtown.

Summary: This was a great location in a historic property. It was well appointed, even with a high chair and a Pack and Play for our infant grandson. We just wish we had booked for additional nights to explore the city. Area is very safe and walkable. Kroger and Starbucks next block over. Highly recommend.

Summary: Overall we enjoyed the house in Savannah. The location was close to the Park and you could walk to River Street if you wanted some exercise! The front porch was lovely to sit out on with your morning coffee which you could get from the corner coffee shop which was very cute. Be aware though that they are closed on Saturday's. The parking pad out back is nice, but small for two cards (it is shared amongst another house). The only real concern was that there was some bugs on the kitchen counter that kept appearing. Not sure what they were. Overall enjoyed our stay!

Summary: Older home beauty and quirks, with modern amenities. Nice neighborhood. You will hear upstairs neighbors walking around on those hardwood floors but if they get too loud, there is an ordinance that prohibits loud noise past 10 PM. Hosts were easy to reach and gave clear instructions. The porch is very nice and there was usually a good breeze.

Summary: We book for 11 nights in mid-August to get out son settled in an unfurnished apartment for his Jr. year at SCAD. We weren’t sure how much time we’d need to find furniture etc, so booked a long stay. The apartment was the perfect place for us. Grocery store around the corner and a cafe practically next door. Easy walk to Forsyth Park (well, would have been easy if it wasn’t mid-August :). Found a great pizza place nearby (Screaming Mimi’s) and had everything we needed to cook breakfast and dinner. The beds were super comfy, the a/c and ceiling fans were fantastic, as were the rockers on the wide front porch. Was great to be able to do laundry given the number of clothes changes needed due to the hot humid weather. This is a truly lovely place to stay - highly recommend!

Summary: We stayed in David's home in Savannah for a few days while we explored Savannah and Hilton Head a few weeks ago. The home was built at the turn of the century and still has some of the original designs including gorgeous hardwood flooring. The front porch overlooks a beautiful tree lined street and is perfect for early morning coffee. Although it is not quite within walking distance to historical areas of Savannah for us, it is within walking distance to a nice Kroger, corner cafe and dollar store. More energetic visitors may be able to walk to Savannah's historical downtown. Parking is super easy and that is definitely a great benefit. David was the perfect host and communicated with us before we arrived and during our stay. We had one very small issue and he responded immediately and took care of it. We would definitely recommend this home for a relaxing, interesting stay in Savannah!

Summary: We chose this property because it said there was a crib and high chair. There was no high chair when we arrived but David provided a brand new chair the following morning. Great location. Great responsive host.

Summary: Very convenient, clean and cozy home...just right for a small family or group of friends. Kroger is right around the corner!! Beautify Forsyth Park is a couple blocks over, with amazing Savannah architecture to view along the way.

Summary: Loved the apartment- was super close to Forsyth Park. There was a cute Coffee-Tea shop on the corner and right around the corner was a Krogers. The evenings were quiet, which is what we were looking for. Be sure and check out the Downtowner app.
