Positive: Everything you need for a night stop near the airport, clean and safe. The owner thoughtfully left out snacks and cooldrink on the table, and we really appreciated that. He also added small touches, like lots of different spices in the drawer, if you stay longer and want to cook on the full-sized stove. As part of his service the owner picked us up at the airport and even offered to drop us at a restaurant if we wanted to get dinner. Thanks again for your hospitality!

Positive: What a lovely place. Spotlessly clean, a big and comfortable bed; lovely shower. Car parking off road in the front of the house. The host had kindly provided bottled water, a Coke and Pringles - a lovely touch. The noon checkout time was hugely helpful to me - I did a running event (Canada Day parkrun) at 9am in Guelph, and there was some socialising after which was nice to be part of. I was able to leave there at 10:30 and return for a shower before checking out.

Negative: I didn;t have a burning need to watch the TV, but for anyone who does - some written guidance on how the TV works and what the two control thingies do would be helpful. It was way beyond my capabilities! (I know I could have contacted the host to ask but didn't think it very polite late at night or early in the morning)

Summary: I adored this place: one of the nicest stays I have had in 45 years of international travelling

Positive: Handy to airport, price was good, nice neighborhood

Negative: Was not cleaned very well. Grease splashes all over stove and wall behind it, bathroom shower had a great deal of soap scum up the stall walls. Toilet paper roll holder broken and hanging.

Negative: The bed and the fridge slide a lot and may need rubber feet on them to keep them in place better which really is not a big deal.

Positive: We stayed for one night and had a late arrival time, but communication with the hosts was excellent. They sent us all the instructions in advance and were available whenever needed. The location, the conditions, and the care provided by the hosts are all positives of this accommodation.
