2 Bedroom House in Interlochen

Our Fashion Avenue home is walking Distance to Interlochen Center for the Arts, Interlochen library, Green Lake, and Duck Lake State Park. Our home is on a large corner lot. The living space is combined with kitchen and dining allowing for family gathering. The two bedrooms, 1 Queen, and 1 Full bed, and a sleeper sofa (linens are supplied). Cozy living room and TV with Charter cable connection and Wi-Fi for your entertainment. One bathroom which has whirlpool tub/shower combination. The laundry area has a washer and a dryer, iron and ironing board. Our Kitchen has an electric stove/ oven with warming tray, microwave, dishwasher and refrigerator, and a dining table and many other updates.
Outside living area has a fenced in back yard, gas grill, seating area on the deck and a fire pit. We are 11 miles from Traverse City which is home to the National Cherry Festival, numerous Wine Country events, shopping and dining, Traverse City Film Festival, etc. There is always something happening in the Traverse City area. Of course, hunting, fishing, boating, skiing, and sight-seeing plus other activities are all close (10-20 mins) from our location.
Pets are allowed with advance approval. No smoking please.

Summary: Mary made the whole process very easy. The organization is something i appreciate. As other reviewers have mentioned, the pictures do not do the house justice. We were visiting traverse city and Elk rapids, the drive from here was 20-40 minutes. Plenty to do around the area and an awesome old style country convenient store at the end of the street. VERY quiet neighborhood, and for those not used to seeing stars, get ready its a great sight. Only 2 notes: 1. FYI is the water has a sulfur smell, we are used it being from the country but if youre a suburbia folk staying there, it may come as a surprise. 2. If you have kids bring a high chair and cups/plates, nothing is 'kid friendly proof' No big deal but just a headsup. Fenced in backyard with a fire pit was awesome, our dogs could let out plenty of energy.
