Positive: The accommodation was neat, tidy and with all the facilities needed. The view in the morning was pretty. The host is very nice.
Negative: We chose the hotel because of its convenient location next to the highway. However, the place is actually located 10+ kilometers away from the location shown on the map. This critical information should be corrected asap on the platform, as it is one of the most important criteria when choosing a place to stay. We had been traveling all day and needed a quick and easy place to sleep, yet ended up lost in a random neighbourhood at night, with warnings that the surrounding area is dangerous after dark. Luckily, a nice lady helped us, made a call and Ana (the host) was kind and picked us up. Even though the place is pretty and the host very friendly, this kind of an inconvenience can result in a great deal of stress for a weary traveller, like us.

Positive: We were looking for a first night close to the airport to rest from our long trip in plane and be relax the next morning, enjoying a breakfast with the view And finally it was super difficult to find, we got lost, arrived exhausted and there were no breakfast the next morning because the landlord went in vacation So, hard time for the first night . But the landlady was friendly and the room was ok. No small light close to the bed to read but ok and clean.

Positive: Beautiful property in Esparza that looks out over the valley. Converted storage container with balcony, well appointed kitchen, bath and comfortable bed. Secure parking. Very nice breakfast.
Negative: It is a bit difficult to find using Booking’s address and Google maps or Waze. Contact the owner for directions.

Positive: A haven for wildlife, as you’re staying on a Finca. The views are spectacular and there are plenty of birds to see and hear. Very quiet at night. Comfortable room, all the facilities you need. Communication was great. There is a restaurant a 2 minute walk away too.
Negative: The directions on booking.com don’t take you the correct place, so follow directions to Finca Los herreras instead as you will be WhatsApp’ed.

Positive: The view is incredible! We saw two different kinds of toucans and a bunch of other birds in the evening and morning. The place is very clean, quiet, and walking distance to a restaurant. The owner is also a massage therapist. My wife was able to book a time last minute and really enjoyed the massage.

Positive: The layout of the container apartment was great, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the view was gorgeous! We enjoyed sitting on the rockers on our private deck looking across the valley.
Negative: Our gps had a hard time finding the location. We were using WAZE and it was sending us all over the place. But, it finally worked (maybe it was our problem) and we found it.
Summary: Absolutely worth the visit! Beautiful, comfortable, relaxing and safe! Loved it!
