Summary: Hotel itself had acceptable cleanliness and rooms were comfortable. The layout of the hotel was fine but minimal activities other than the pool. There were no amenities at the ocean. The food was terrible and we could not eat the buffet. Only the two speciality restaurants had reasonable food. The drinks were all watered down and had minimal alcohol. It seemed that this resort is for locals.

Summary: Whilst our stay was not unpleasant, the check in and check out was a shambles, the rooms are like something from a 1970s Days Inn and I did object to queuing in a long line for breakfast - I am paying for a hotel stay and not expecting school dinners. Conversely, apart from the check in and check out teams all the staff were very friendly and helpful and a credit to the hotel. If you plan to stay beware this is an old facility and despite the website rooms are being upgraded, they have a lot of work to do and I suspect the chances of a decent room are very low.

Summary: This property is definitely old and terribly outdated. We were in a pinch and it served it purpose. Somewhere to sleep and eat. There is nothing to do around this property. Definitely felt out of place staying here. I would say 98% of the guests here are locals. All entertainment was done in only Spanish. A lot of the staff only spoke Spanish as well. Would never stay here or in this area again.

Summary: Very big hotel with lots of activities great service and great location. Check in SUPER slow even if you have upgrade or special package.

Summary: We stayed at the resort for a couple of nights when we first arrived in Costa Rica, after 2 weeks of traveling around Mexico. It was nice to have a relaxing break but after 2 days we were bored. We were glad that we had a premium room, which meant access to a different pool, as the main pools were loud and crowded. Service was good, food was good.

Summary: Ive stayed here multiple times over the years and sadly this place is going downhill. The service is still good but the rooms are showing their age. No hot water and AC cools but not cold. Bathroom drain not secured, mold in the bathrooms... The weekend gets opened to the locals who i love but be aware its like being on a packed cruise. Not enough seating around the pools, long lines for food and drinks. So avoid the weekend at ALL costs! Now the good stuff are the shows, staff and some of the better restaurants. Keep in mind thats VIP or limited for the rest. It wont let me add pictures to show the concerns.
