Summary: We enjoyed the month of August at this property including Chapman Beach, neighboring restaurants in Westbrook and Old Saybrook and local activities. Would definitely recommend.

Summary: The location was perfect, nice views and one minute to the beach. It had everything that was needed to make me comfortable including an air conditioner and washer and dryer. It is a one bedroom but still spacious for company to visit. Loved that there were two decks, one in the front and one in the back. Lots of wildlife to enjoy watching. Looking forward to staying here again!

Summary: What a wonderful 2 weeks - the location was excellent! One block to the private beach, the residents were welcoming and the neighborhood quiet and easy for morning runs, bike and walk. Only 1 mile from the grocery and minutes from 95 for day trips. Surrounding towns all minutes away for things you may have forgotten to bring with you. Our landlords are really easy to reach and responsive, but gave us privacy. The lodging is a perfect set-up for relaxing, cooking and the best smart-tv for rainy days. Sending a big shout out and Thank YOU! to our hosts. See you next year... :)

Summary: This property was the perfect size for my husband and I. We stayed for 12 days and it had plenty of room for just the two of us. The location was great, as we were never more than 30-45 minutes away from the golf courses and wineries in the area. We walked to the private beach in less than 5 minutes and it was never crowded while we were there. Plenty of wildlife to see from the deck (squirrels, birds, rabbits, and fireflies). We will definitely stay here again!

Summary: Very first time staying at this location. Quaint neighborhood. Private beaches are clean and not crowded. Close to everything, such as shopping and area restaurants. The cottage was as pictured, amenities included use of linens, towels, stocked kitchen (complete set of dishes, glasses, utensils, pots, pans, small appliances, dishwasher too!). Beach chairs were available as well. Cottage was very comfortable and easy to keep clean, beautiful hardwood floors throughout. Ocean and marsh views, lots of birds and rabbits to watch everyday. We look forward to staying here next Summer!

Summary: Not for everyone, especially any with issues climbing stairs but not a problem for us. Front and back decks were nice especially back where you can watch abundant bird life. The A/C doesn't reach the bedroom/bath well but there is a ceiling and floor fan. Kitchen pans/utensils could use some improvement but owner did respond quickly with specific requests. All in all, we enjoyed ourselves and the proximity to the 2 small association beaches and surrounding activities/nature/stores/restaurants.
