Summary: Located in the university District this is a unique apartment close to all transport, trans buses, and Uber. Grocery store, coffee shop Within walking distance. Fabulous Bonetti Café with spectacular array of savoury and sweets. The area is quiet and secure,definitely immersive in to Melbourne Neighbourhood.

Summary: Upsides: The location of this place can't be beat. It's in the heart of Carlton next to lots of places to go out to eat, buy groceries, walking distance to the CBD or Fitzroy, next to Uni Melb, lots of public transit nearby, and lots of parks to explore. Cinema Nova and shopping is a block away. It's just a wonderful neighborhood to stay in. The place has good air conditioning for hot days and it's relatively quiet given how bustling the neighborhood is. The downsides: This place needs a deep cleaning and update. The photos in the listing were taken some time ago. It is surface level clean, but once you are there you start to notice the grime leftover from all the people who have stayed there previously. The shower is super small and everything in the kitchen is small - not a place where you can easily cook your own meals. The bed just has a flat sheet thrown over the mattress (there is no mattress protector or fitted sheet) and the couch is comfortable, but worn out from people staying there. The closets in the bedroom are filled up with extra blankets and towels, laundry basket, a vacuum, ironing board and iron, heating fans, and a broom - so there isn't a lot of storage space for your stuff. You essentially just have the drawers for storage. You only get one copy of the gate and door key, which is fine if you stay there alone. If you stay there with someone else who needs to come and go without you, it's very inconvenient.

Summary: Good: Great location and well-equipped, clean, comfortable bed, quiet. Not so good: Tiny shower, only a single key provided. More importantly, the apartment is 2 floors up narrow stairs. Not a problem for us, but many people would have trouble carrying a 20 kg suitcase up. We suggest you point this out in the ad, so those who aren't capable of handling this don't book.

Summary: Great location and apartment had everything we needed however when we went to check in after a long day the apartment hadn't been serviced and we had to wait a further 45 minutes to check in.
