Summary: We had a wonderful time at this home. The house was very welcoming, with a full kitchen, comfortable living room and bedrooms, and great bathroom with in-floor heating and excellent water pressure. The home was very clean and supplied with everything outlined in the listing. If you stay here, you'll get a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains and valley below, and beautiful drives along roads carved into the mountainside, through quaint towns. Just make sure you are prepared for what this means -- winding drives on switchback roads at night, no major town within a half-hour drive. As long as you're aware that you are staying on a mountainside, you'll love this rental. We spent our days skiing at Arosa, a 25-minute drive from the house. This ski resort had beautiful trails and snow; just be aware if you are coming from American-style skiing that there is no concept of a base lodge. You should arrive at the base lift with only what you mean to carry all day, and there are only restaurants and bars on the mountain, no cafeteria-style lodges. We stayed in winter, with a foot of snow on the ground, but could see the signs for various sure-to-be-beautiful hiking trails around the house were we to come in summer! Lastly, the owner was very easy to coordinate with even though we speak no German.
