Summary: I have now booked this cottage a couple of times for my partner and I and will continue to go back. The owner Margaret is lovely and its a well stocked cottage. Its in a small village within easy driving distance to many of Chester's attraction and a nice pub about a mile and half away.There is a designated parking space and a lovely outside seating area. It is ideal for a couple or small family but if you have mobility problems then you might find the stairs from the kitchen to the living room and bedrooms a little bit steep. It is not a large cottage but I find it cosy and welcoming and value for money. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Summary: Couldn't fault the cottage other than the double bed is hard and quite uncomfortable. The owners were so friendly and helpful. I would certainly recommend Ash Cottage to anyone who was considering a trip to Chester. We will definitely be back.
