Broulee Island is joined to the mainland by a permanent sand pit, which makes for a great day trip to walk out and around the island. Finally, Bengello Beach, south of Shark Bay, is another long, stretching, dog-friendly beach just moments away from the Cosy Coastal Cottage. Great for fishing and surfing, and perhaps best appreciated from Broulee lookout.
Getting Around:
Broulee supermarket is a 3-minute walk away on Grant street. Larger supermarkets can be found 12 minutes south in Moruya or 25 minutes north in Bateman’s Bay. Two Sister on Wheels is a great stop for some awesome food truck treats and is just a 6-minute walk down the road or an easy detour on your way back from the beach.
