Cosy little cottage in Brightwaters, NSW, close to the shores of Lake Macquarie. Nothing fancy, but a clean, quiet and safe place to stay. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, with the lower bathroom also equipped with a washer and dryer. There is enough space for one car to park on the property, and additional parking is available on the street. The kitchen includes a stove, oven, kettle, toaster, coffee grinder, and coffee plunger. Outside, there's a BBQ on the deck and a fire pit on the lawn.
We love animals but in the interest of the local birds and wildlife we have a "no pets policy."

Summary: We had a great experience staying here. The location is amazing with close proximity to the lake. It is very peaceful and we had a surprisingly awesome star gazing experience from the property itself! The host George is very helpful and approachable. We had no issues and George had made the fire pit ready for us to use before we got there. The kids loved it too. Highly recommended!

Summary: Thanks to George and Emma, we had a perfect family trip. The firewood they prepared for us made for an unforgettable, beautiful night. We're also grateful for the free-range eggs and the crops. Every morning, we were visited by many birds, rabbits, ducks, and other animals, which made the time fly by. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, and at night, the stars are just breathtaking. We will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend it to everyone!

Summary: Really enjoyed our relaxing stay at Brightwater. Great little cottage, very clean & tidy with all the appliances you need. Very peaceful to sit on the veranda & watch the birds. Checking in & out was very easy & George the owner was lovely to deal with - thank you! Awesome location that allowed us to travel & enjoy the Hunter Valley, Newcastle & the Entrance. We can’t wait to visit again
