Summary: We only had a 1 night stay as it was supposed to be a staging post to travelling further north on the peninsula to explore the area. However cyclone Gabrielle had other plans for us, so Cotswold Cottage and Thames was as far as we got. Nevertheless we had a very pleasant stay. Garth and Adrienne were great hosts and we particularly enjoyed the home made scones and tea on our arrival served in the guest lounge with amazing views all round. It is a beautiful property and the room was tastefully decorated and extremely clean. The bed was huge and very comfortable. Unfortunately the weather prevented us from taking advantage of sitting in the lovely garden and enjoying the views of the river and surrounding properties or using the spa pool but I would imagine it would be wonderful on a sunny day. We would highly recommend a stay in this gorgeous home.

Summary: Beautiful scenic, historic property, excellent service.and very good location. Breakfast was outstanding. The 6 day cancellation window was a problem. In spite of the flooding we weren’t able to cancel and had to work around the scheduling. Only property we had booked that we had a problem with. Otherwise a great stay….

Summary: Very nice room. Lovely owners were very helpful finding road closures and directions during the bad rain storms. Very nice breakfast. Steep hill getting up to their house but it was a great view.

Summary: Outstanding service from the moment we arrived till we left. We were greeted with an afternoon tea and had a lovely continental and cooked breakfast the next morning. Great room with all the amenities you need except a kitchen.
