Location, location, location! Walking distance to restaurants and activities. On private lane leading to four corners, Paradise Cafe, Tom’s Donuts, The Corner Landing, The Waterfront Bistro, and more.
3 bedroom, 2 bath cottage on the second basin on Lake James. Sandy beach and dock. Fully furnished with cable TV, WIFI, A/C, washer and dryer. Front and back lot. Dock for boat, jet skis. Trailer can be stored on back lot. Plenty of parking spots.
Family neighborhood so tenants should be adult families, kids and relatives, friends. Not recommended for young people desiring loud partying. If you want to rent after Labor Day until Memorial Day contact land lord so special arrangements can be made.

Summary: We love our yearly week stay and as always booked for the next year already. Mike is always extremely responsive to any questions or issues that pop up. We love renting this house as it suits our needs for limited stairs, close to aging parents ( Fort Wayne), beautiful beach, clean lake, friendly neighbors, great rental owners, close to amenities and such a relaxed vibe!!

Summary: We enjoyed the large yard and the sandy beach. The location to food and shops is within walking distance. We didn’t need to use our car the entire time we were there. The cottage is very open but dated. It could use some serious updates but love that it is a true cottage. We will be back next year! Thank you!

Summary: We really enjoyed coming to this lake cottage for the week - it reminded my parents and I of the lake cottage we had growing up. The beach was 10/10, sandy and easy to wade into the water and play. The location was great as well, easy walk to restaurants and get donuts in the morning. The owner was quick to get a hold of with any questions leading up to the week and was available during our time there if we needed anything. We could come back again!
