Summary: We were all looking forward to our short Christmas break and we were not disappointed.. The cottage was easy to find and we had early access. The heating was on and everything looked cosy. Louise had left a hamper and a bottle of Champagne - thankyou The bedrooms were of good size and the beds were comfy with a bedroom downstairs with accessible bathroom which was for us invaluable. The lounge was very cosy and the kitchen/diner was well equipped with all we needed Louise was very helpful from the start of booking, .answered any queries and available during our stay. We would love to visit again as the cottage is very much home from home and very comfortable

Summary: A well appointed property , conveniently located just off the A1; yet retaining a quiet country feel. Well suited to our 3 generation family group needs. Located within easy access of Rutland water, which was ideal for our 2 grandsons. Good communication with the owner made you feel that should there be a problem it would be dealt with promptly.

Summary: We enjoyed a couple of quiet days with friends, and our two German Shepherds. We were grateful to be allowed to bring two big dogs and were made to feel very welcome. There was an amazing welcome pack, an immaculately clean property throughout; making it a great pleasure to stay. If in the area we would certainly not hesitate to book again

Summary: Louise is the perfect host, very welcoming, friendly and accommodating. She added a few extra treats which were much appreciated. The puppy and chickens were also an added bonus. The house was exactly as described, very clean, well equipped and comfortable. Plenty of space for our family of 5 adults and a toddler. There are plenty of interesting places to visit in close proximity to the property, also some nice walks. There is also a good choice of places to eat without travelling far. Many thanks from us all Louse.

Summary: We stayed at Farriers Cottage for a family gathering and the cottage was perfect for our needs! Ideally located, the area is beautiful with lots of places to explore. The cottage is very well equipped and has lovely comfortable furniture and the thoughtful touches included were very much appreciated. Louise is a fantastic host and was really helpful both before and during our stay. We loved our stay and we will definitely be back!

Summary: From the moment I booked Louise was fantastic. She was able to recommend places to visit that suited our wide age range and some lovely places to eat out. The property was very clean and tidy and the treats on our arrival were much appreciated. Our puppy loved running around in the safe gated outside space. Thank you for having us.
