2 Bedroom Cottage in Lincoln

The perfect Northern California location for a romantic weekend or relaxing escape for family or friends. Lovely cottage in a picturesque country setting located in a convenient location at the base of the Sierra foothills only 2 miles from the town of Lincoln, Situated 7 miles from Interstate 80 between Lake Tahoe and San Francisco.
There are many equestrian and biking trails nearby. Visitors wanting to soak up Gold Rush history will enjoy a visit to nearby Auburn approximately 20 minutes by car. In addition, you may like to stroll around the property viewing the many Maidu Indian grinding rocks, pestles and Native American fertility rock.
Two comfortable bedrooms, two bathrooms and a sleeping loft will accommodate 8 people max . The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you’ll need to prepare your meals. Towels and linens are provided. There is a sun-room with a cozy outdoor area equipped with a propane barbecue. A favorite activity of visitors is relaxing on the grassy private beach near the river and enjoying the built in fire pit (wood is provided for an additional charge).
***We have satellite internet. It is slower than most are used to, so we like to make sure guests are aware!

Summary: It exceeded our expectations and provided ample space for all of us, dogs included. Lovely grounds and a very natural setting among mature trees, creek view. We're really glad to have the opportunity to stay there.

Summary: A great place for California & Michigan family to be together for a wedding in the area. It’s quiet for sleeping and great space for walking. The banana bread was delicious and a welcome surprise.

Summary: This place is an absolute gem. It is so much cuter than it looks on line (both inside and out). It is very clean and the owner left us delicious fresh baked banana bread for our arrival. There are 3 different areas to sit outside. The creek is on the property and we waded through it. The natural rocks are cool looking and fun to climb. We saw wild turkeys every day as well as a neighborhood cat and dog that came to visit. We also enjoyed seeing the neighbors goats and peacock. The owners are lovely and accommodating. We had an amazing stay. I hope you do too.

Summary: Our family of 4 had a lovely experience at the property. Plenty of things to see and do around Lincoln or just stay in and enjoy the creek, turkeys and deer. Our kids loved it! Very nice, clean and well kept. Well stocked house in case you forgot something. Had everything we needed to have a nice relaxing stay. Thank you! Would highly recommend!

Summary: The property is perfect for teens and pets to explore! Met the awesome family behind the property, as well. Fire pit, creek, and lights over the lawn at night were the highlights. We felt relaxed the entire time and enjoyed our short stay.

Summary: A beautiful relaxing property that we are so happy that we found. We live in Texas and we were able to have our children and grand children meet us there and made some awesome memories. We went down by the creek and had a fire under the lights made s’mores with our grandchildren. This was the first time we were all able to be together and can’t think of a nicer place for that! We all just loved property and our stay there!
