Summary: Lovely appartment perfecly well equipped in a quiet surrounding close to the sea as well as to the lakes of Bracciano and Bolsena and to numerous etruscan and medieval places harbouring good traditional restaurants. Summary: We had a fantastic stay at haus Claudia! Close to Rome (to go by train or car) and the beaches. Friendly and hospitable hosts, a very spacios, very clean house. Everything is equipped : Airco, working modern flatscreen TV's, dishwasher, washing machine, BBQ. Outside a nice big garden with kid's swings, trampoline, closed fence.. If there would be a swimmingpool : we would give Haus Claudia a 10/10 without doubt! Instead we relaxed at the beach or at Lake Bracciano between our visits to Rome! Hope to come back here soon!

Summary: My wife, son (10 years old) and I spent six days at Haus Claudia in February, 2014. Our first impression was great. We had no trouble finding the place and the hosts that live next door were very friendly and helpful (they have good advice - listen to them if you stay here). The yard and car park are gated and the place feels very secure. We were expecting an older, rustic place judging from the pictures but everything in this place is new and it looked as if it was completely redone in the fall of 2013. The place was spotless when we arrived. The place has a beautiful view across a farmers field (with sheep at times) down to the ocean and has some beautiful sunsets. There was a septic smell to the place when we first got in to the house probably due to the S traps drying out over the winter. Once we ran the water and aired the place out the smell went away completely and this won't be an issue unless you happen to be staying here after it hasn't been rented for a long time. It was cool in the evenings when we were there and the heating system is more than adequate to keep the place warm and cozy. The furniture is comfortable, the TV has more channels than you can believe and the internet worked flawlessly. You will need a car if you are staying here as you are out in the country but this place is perfectly situated for day trips into Rome or the surrounding areas and has easy access to the A series highways. The house is about a ten minute drive from the ocean which would be great in the summer. The house is also close to many restaurants and several grocery stores. The pictures of the house on the website are exactly what you you will find when you get there. There is a switch in the bathroom that turns the hot water on and off and I turned it off accidentally at night while looking for a light switch which made me very unpopular with my wife the next morning... The bedrooms up stairs have skylights in them that let in a lot of light so sleeping in is not an option in the morning unless you sleep with a blindfold. Overall it was a very pleasant stay. We stayed two other places in Italy and this was by far the cheapest place we stayed at and it was our second favourite. If we find ourselves travelling back to the Rome area we would certainly stay here again and would recommend it for either two couples or a family up to four. There is another rental place beside this one so if you had a larger group you could rent both places and have tons of room.

Summary: We stayed here five nights with our two young children. Mario was very welcoming and accommodating, even bringing over a baby bed and high chair. The apartment was clean and cosy and well equipped, there is also a washing machine and wifi. The outdoor space is beautiful as well! We`d definitely recommend this place for anyone wanting a quiet relaxing atmosphere, within close distance to all the tourist sites of Rome.

Summary: We stayed four nights in Ceveteri and enjoyed it very much. Mario and his wife are very kind and helpful, the house is lovely, just like on the photos. There is a supermarket quite close and we had a great time on the seaside and visiting the sights in the area. We'd be happy to return any time.

Summary: We stayed at this apartment for 4 nights. We were hoping for a clean, comfortable, quiet location that was convenient for touring the Roman hills, and Rome. Our expectations were exceeded.You can even see the sunset and sundown whilst sitting on the garden. Also, the furnishing is new and modern and everything that is needed ranging from spices over kitchen gadgets to wireless internet is provided. The beds were especially comfortable. Mario and his family are charming.There is also a supermarket nearby. We really enjoyed our holiday here and would definitely recommend this apartment for anyone wanting to discover the sights in Rome. If we were to return to Rome, we would certainly stay here again.
