Summary: There was construction everywhere in the hotel. There was drilling going on. They changed the location of the lobby. I called hotels.com while I was over there and they informed me that I was only getting a small portion back on the next stay which is unacceptable and the hotel was going to reimburse me the resort fee in which they did not. My family and I did not have a good experience. The hotel never informed hotels.com that there was going to be construction. Hotels.com raves about this hotel but in reality it’s very expensive and the rooms are dated.

Summary: Nice Hotel, I wish I knew it was under construction, little noisy at times. You will hear the airplanes since you are so close to the airport. Parking garage is convenient, Food is a bit pricy, staff was friendly. if you are looking to walk around this is a bit out of the way of restaurants, we always get a car so would stay again after upgrades are complete

Summary: The resort is fabulous. Beautiful clean pool, Sun loungers and umbrellas on beautiful beach and staff are excellent and friendly. Great for kids. Short taxi ride to explore old town San Juan and Pinones. The rooms are very dark and dingy for the price and the airplanes are extremely noisy given proximity to the airport. Balcony with limited beach view was awful with construction directly outside. Airplanes take off late and very early and make it hard to sleep. Dispite the drawbacks we still had a lovely trip and if we found a less expensive deal we would return to the property in the future.
