Decorated in quirky, but authentic Adirondack style, the Coyote Cottage is a 2 BR with loft (futon) & den with single pull out sofa bed, 2 Bath Luxury Cottage on 78 PRIVATE acres w/trails. Complimentary 2 pairs of snowshoes. 10 min drive from Lake Placid village & 15 mins from Whiteface! Fireplaces in Living Room, Main Bath, and Master Bedroom. Lg. Screen TV. AIR CONDITIONERS in summer. Pack n Play & Highchair available on request. Quirky & artistic twists in decor with bas relief art work sculpted on are sure to love this unique cottage! Only 1 other building on property (property manager), so private, but close to town. Use of Lean To, Pond, All Trails, & Firepit. Complimentary Grill in summer months (guest responsible for propane refills and cleaning!. Cottage is in the High Peaks Region so mountain ranges can limit internet on occasion. Wifi accessible thru your cell phone only. May not be perfect for folks "always" on the net, social media, or movie buffs always on netflicks, but rather for nature lovers and vacationers wishing to relax, explore the ADKS, and absorb our local flora and fauna. Bobcat, Coyote, Deer, Weasel, Moose, Bear, etc are plentiful on property. Puzzles and games are available for your enjoyment...retro, yes, but always enjoyable!
No pets allowed please. This is due to the remote location and presence of wildlife in the area.

Summary: My husband and I and our 4 kids loved the cottage. It was so cozy and quiet. We came to go skiing at Whiteface Mountain which we loved! The cottage met our needs and we appreciated the restaurant recommendations provided. The electric fireplaces in the master bathroom and master bedroom downstairs work great and give off nice warmth very quickly. I enjoyed a relaxing bath after skiing all day. I

Summary: Beautiful little cottage, conveniently situed near Whiteface ski resort and Lake Placid town. It confortably accomodated 6 adults. We all appreciated the attention to details in the way the place was decorated. We had a fantastic week-end!

Summary: This was such a fun and wonderful property. It is a very quiet area that is still close to all the fun in Lake Placid. Awesome trails just minutes away. The details in the cabin are so fun! It is a carefully built and very clean property. We are already looking for a date that we can return!

Summary: This was the best experience I’ve had out of all my rentals! The cottage was absolutely outstanding and enchanting. The attention to detail was absolutely amazing. The place was extremely comfortable and cozy. Location was second to none, half way between Lake Placid and the adk Loj- gateway to the High Peaks. The owners were so friendly and accommodating. I honestly couldn’t have asked for a finer experience! Thank you SO much Brian and Barbara! See ya soon!

Summary: This property was amazing. Secluded from traffic yet so close to town. The property was so peaceful with lots to do from Hiking to hanging by the frog pond. Only minutes to town this was the perfect location to relax and recharge. The cottage is beautiful with lots of character and so many neat features. Can't wait to be back next year!!

Summary: We had a great stay at this cottage that is as cute as pictured. The location was a perfect home base for several hikes in the High Peaks, dinner in Lake Placid, day trips to Sarnac Lake and Lake Champlain. Perfect for 2 adults and our older teens.

Summary: We very much enjoyed our stay at the Coyote Cottage! Inside was magical- with sweet details, comfy beds, and stocked kitchen. A blender went missing and Barbara was very quick to get it replaced. Will definitely stay again! :)
