A 5-minute walk brings you to the trail head for an easy walk around Lake Eaton with beautiful views. Walk or drive to the trail head to Clark Mountain which is a great half mile hike with great views of the Jay Mountain range and Whiteface Mountain. The playground and Tennis courts are within walking distance. Hike one of the High Peaks in Keene Valley. Enjoy a visit to Lake Placid home of the 1932 and 1980 Olympics with its many shops and restaurants. Mountain biking trails and a public swimming area are close by in Wilmington. Or just relax on the deck and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. There is so much to do at your fingertips. Summary: The location was perfect for us (two of us doing the Ironman) Away from the crowds and chaos of Lake Placid Located just off the bike course, so easy for us to go out for a ride along a portion of the course. Peaceful mornings listening to the birds and quiet evenings with no traffic, very calming. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, lots of towels. A bit of a tight squeeze getting up the spiral stairs to the loft. A very enjoyable place to call home for a few days. Many thanks.

Summary: We stayed at this property for a girls high peak hiking trip. The property is very clean and cozy. Our party of four was very comfortable. The cabin is nicely appointed with all the necessities! Communication with the host was easy. We really enjoyed our stay and would rent this property again without hesitation. Thank you for a fun, laid back and comfortable stay!

Summary: Just outside Jay, this cozy little A-frame was immaculately and thoughtfully stocked. Immediately after we arrived, we were snowed in by a freak winter storm! Thankfully, we had everything we needed to weather it - snow shovel, a warm wood stove, coffee, snacks, and more. The host was wonderful and easy to work with, the place itself was clean and lovely, and the location was idyllic. A word of caution - the property's upper floor (and main bedroom) are accessible only via a narrow and difficult spiral staircase. Would not recommend for children or the physically infirm.

Summary: This is a cozy little a-frame cabin in the woods, 15-20 min away from Whiteface skiing resort, reasonably priced, which makes it a great base camp for skiing enthusiasts. I enjoyed relaxing in the rocking chair in front of the wood burning stove after day of skiing. The narrow steep spiral staircase to access 2 rooms on the second floor makes it hard to carry personal belongings upstairs but it is the only solution to save space in this tiny house.

Summary: It is very nice and clean, it has everything needed to cook and feel at home. it is a quiet neighbourhood and the pond, sport and environmental surroundings are very good too. Everything is easy to use. furniture are beautiful and in very good condition. We liked the place.

Summary: Great remote location, perfect for Christmas and New Year’s Eve, located near North Pole, home of Santa’s Workshop. Conveniently located 10 miles away from Whiteface Mountain Ski Resort, is great for families with kids! They enjoyed the snow around the cabin. I only wish they had a fire ring. We’ll probably return for summer to explore the nearby hiking trails.
