Summary: My family and I had a lovely time, yet again! We enjoyed fun day trips, easily accessible from this great location, including The North Pole, High Falls Gorge, John Brown's Farm, shopping in Lake Placid and Keene, and more. And we loved coming back to cozy nights by the fire to relax with our kids and dogs and play board games! Thank you for helping us create beautiful memories!

Summary: This is our third consecutive year at the cabin to celebrate our anniversary, and each time it feels just like coming home. Rebecca and Wayne could not be kinder, more gracious hosts. We are so grateful to have found them and this place. It is the most relaxing and well-stocked place we have ever stayed at, and is centrally located to some terrific Adirondack adventures. Thank you for having us again - we already can't wait to come back!

Summary: We had a quick 3 night stay as part of a bigger road trip with two families. The house was an ideal base for us to visit Lake Placid and some of the historic townships in the region. We were very comfortable at the house and it had everything we needed to cook meals and enjoy the peace and quiet of the mountains.

Summary: Owner was proactive in making contact, and made extra efforts to relay us useful information for the property. Our small family had plenty of space to spread out, and the pet friendly status made this ideal. I look forward to coming back sometime when it is cooler so that we could use the wood fireplace and outdoor fire pit.

Summary: This is the second year in a row that we returned to this lovely chalet. Rebecca and Wayne have created the most spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped winter chalet that I and my friends have rented in thirty years of winter reunions for x-c skiing in the Lake Placid area. The furnishings are casual as a generational family retreat should be, but lack nothing. There is a game room with a TV and fold-out bed, one children's bedroom with two single beds, and two adult bedrooms. Our group of three couples and one teenager never felt crowded. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped for major meal production, with plenty of fresh supplies from the owner's and previous guests, so there is no worry about forgetting to bringing baking soda or cinnamon for pancakes. The fireplace has the best draft I have ever seen, it fires up quickly without a hint of smoke spilling out into the living room, which is important for an asthmatic like myself. The owners are nice and responsive. As long as this chalet is available at its very reasonable price we will never again shop around for our winter retreat.

Summary: This was a comfortable, well-stocked base for our visit to the northern Adirondacks. We had several days of rain, so we spent more time in the house than we expected. The house is nothing fancy, but roomy and cozy. Baseboard heaters are really effective. Beds were comfortable. Wifi was strong and reliable. Kitchen was well-stocked, in both kitchenware and spices/sundries. Lots of puzzles and games in the TV room. The basement had a ping-pong table, but we did not use. We had a few questions for the owner, and got a prompt response - within hours.

Summary: Every year my family and I head to the high peaks area with our dogs for a long weekend in October. This is our 2nd year in a row at this property, and it felt like coming home, in a way. It's a beautiful, quiet place, and it has all the comforts of home. Rebecca is a caring and attentive host, who is always a quick text away, if needed. The kids also enjoyed the new ping pong table, which came in handy during the monsoon-like weather we had Satuday! We hope to return again! Thank you!
