Come enjoy a beautiful getaway in Cimarron, CO. This cabin is located just minutes away from the Arrowhead Mountain Lodge between Montrose, CO and Gunnison, CO and is surrounded by Aspen and Pine trees. It offers a comfortable home-like feeling with granite countertops, washer/dryer, high end appliances and plenty of room to enjoy your family. The loft area features the master bedroom and bathroom with a walk in shower and overlooks the living and dining room. There are two bedrooms and one bathroom downstairs with queen beds that have windows for you to enjoy the outdoors from inside. This cabin also features Satellite TV and WIFI. You can also enjoy sitting on the front deck while grilling your dinner and taking in the mountain air. **No open fires allowed**

Summary: Property was beautiful and exactly what we needed to relax and re-charge in the middle of nature. From the front porch we saw chipmunks, birds such as woodpeckers and robins, always territorial hummingbirds, abundant amount of deer does/fawns/bucks, a red fox, a black bear and even a mountain lion (yes, a mountain lion!), all from the front porch! My dad even asked if we were staying in a zoo, he was quite jealous of our sightings… What an amazing place to experience. Josh/Krissi were awesome, great communication, helpful and friendly. The property is setup/stocked with everything you could possibly need. Internet/SmartTV/Wi-Fi worked perfectly but it is a great place to un-plug from the gadgets. Traeger grill/smoker was excellent to cook on, pellets provided, thank you! Interior is decorated beautifully, leather loungers were relaxing, great fully stocked kitchen to cook in, and bed is very comfortable. It is obvious that the owners enjoy and take care of their property, it is not just a rental. Landscaping was a delight and created an blissful ecosystem for the wildlife. Although we usually just drive through Arrowhead looking for elk (which we did see in one of the valleys), this time we decided to book a cabin and I can tell you there is no better place in the area. If you like to be remote but still require regular comforts of home, please book this amazing place! Sunsets peering through the aspens on the porch were great. We visit the area often in the fall too, and can only imagine the aspens erupting around the property, I’m sure it’s a sight to see. Thank you Josh/Krissi for sharing your home with us so we can make new memories, many that we will never forget!

Summary: We stayed here for a week and loved it. It was plenty of room for the six of us. It was stocked well. We seen lots of wildlife while there. If we come back to this area we would stay in this cabin again. The owners were very nice and stayed in contact with us during our entire stay.

Summary: We were impressed with this perfect cabin from the moment we arrived! My wife commented the first full day we were there that she felt at home. It is a little remote, however is exactly what we were looking for and very inviting. The nearby lodge has a good menu and some activities while practicing social distancing. We made good use of the fire pit and smoker while there. And the owners were very responsive to any and all questions we had. We are definitley looking to go back next summer!

Summary: The minute you turn the key you realize all you need for an enjoyable trip has already been provided by the hosts. It was obvious they wanted guests to feel at home. They even provided masks in the event we had forgotten to bring any! The cabin was exceptionally clean with modern appliances, new furniture, and it appeared to be professionally decorated. There's really nothing negative we can say!

Summary: We chose this cabin in the woods as a place to move our family quarantine uphill for a week this summer. This place was perfect! It is extremely well appointed and very comfortable. Josh and Krissi were very responsive to questions and were intent on ensuring we had a relaxing and successful trip. They are excellent hosts. There are many outdoor activities around, but prepare to drive an hour or so to most of them. We were looking for quiet isolation, and this cabin worked out great for us. I highly recommend it.
