Located in the community of Bear Creek Lake, this cabin is located on approximately 1.7 acres of wooded serenity. A full kitchen, internet, cable and 3 bedrooms will help you feel right at home. With so many activities to mention, you could head down to 2 of the lakeside beaches with your favorite paddle board or raft or simply relax by the large pool. You have access to the lake, pool, tennis courts, basketball courts, and playground within the Bear Creek Lake Community.
Approximately 5 miles south, you could also visit historic Jim Thorpe with quaint shops, pubs, restaurants, hiking, biking, and/or taking some scenic views in while traveling north on a train ride. Blue Mountain, CamelBack, Jack Frost/Big Boulder Ski Resorts are a short drive for some fantastic skiing and the Fall Foliage will keep you coming back for years to come. Therefore, come and relax on the large front deck or sit out back around the campfire roasting marshmallows and creating memories to last a lifetime.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a NO SMOKING and NO PET home. You must provide your own paper products, tea towels and bath towels. All linens, mattress protectors, comforters and pillows are provided. A washer/dryer is also included.

Summary: We had a nice stay. The cabin is beautiful and invites to have a peaceful and joyful time. Please, be aware you need to bring your own shower/bathroom towels. For the price paid for the cabin stay, towels should be provided.

Summary: My friend and I (and our 2 toddlers) had a wonderful stay at the cabin! We were very comfortable - the beds and pillows were great, the individual thermostats in each room were much appreciated. The kitchen was great for cooking and prepping. And there were even some toys for our toddlers who were thrilled! The location is great - friendly neighbors and nice walking around Bear Lakes. Very close to downtown Jim Thorpe and trails, which we really enjoyed. It was a great spot, and we would definitely return.

Summary: Hosts were awesome, easy to communicate with. Place was extremely clean. Everything worked as it should. Washer/dryer was nice. Clean updated shower and bathroom. Just outside of Jim Thorpe. Nice and quiet while still a short drive to town. Will definitely be back! Thank you!

Summary: The neighborhood is quiet, the location is great, and the outdoor space is perfect for relaxing if the weather is cooperative. The hosts will do the best to make your guest experience right, and sharing their cabin as a benefit to us all. The kitchen is well stocked, for those needing that option. The cabin and grounds are set up for six, which is more accurate than some cabins. I recommend this property for your next getaway! We had some challenges with the internet connection if a laptop was introduced to the network. Once we figured out late in the week what the issue was and removed the laptop, the smart TVs and cell phone access was less frustrating. There is very limited cell coverage on Verizon at the location, so as an IT/IS professional this could have been a limitation in an emergency situation. That said, the host immediately responded to the issue and jumped in with options to remediate. If you don't need emergency work requiring internet (and this might be remedied going forward, or know you may need to find a location for emergencies), by far this is the perfect location to explore the Poconos.

Summary: The house is extremely nice. Arrived to find house just as described. The house has 3 good sized bedrooms that were very clean, and a full bathroom with tub/shower combo that was also spotless. Newer stackable washer and dryer were in closet area in bathroom. The kitchen was very well equipped with anything you could possibly need. The living room was clean and roomy. Get deck and firepit with chairs. The deck was off the front and huge with trex seating and a very large picnic table with umbrella. We were very happy with our stay. enjoyed every minute of our stay.

Summary: Family of four LOVED our private cabin this week! Probably saw 150+ deer and enjoyed the great pool, lake and playground, along with all the great restaurants and shops. Perfect!

Summary: We stayed for the weekend while going to a Spartan race. We went I to town across the river, what a charming place. House was perfect, had everything we needed. Even a washer and dryer which is a huge plus after running that race!!
