Summary: We needed a place to stay for a wedding, so we decided to try our first Vrbo. We absolutely loved it and hope to return soon when we have more down time to enjoy the cabin. The waterfall was awesome! We loved discovering Buck Mountain!

Summary: We absolutely loved this cabin in the woods! It reminded us of home, being that we're from the country. I do want to say that the drive up the mountain is very windy with steep drop offs. Be sure to follow the posted speed limit at all times. But the cabin and location are so worth it! The screened in front porch was our oasis every chance we got. The leaves were in fully so the distant view was hindered, but the peace and tranquility was amazing. Definitely recommend this cabin, especially if you're looking to get away from it all.

Summary: We enjoyed three restful nights in this very clean, beautifully appointed and easily accessible cabin while attending MerleFest in nearby Wilkesboro. My only regret is that we didn’t have enough time to explore the surrounding area of Buck Mountain (we were there for the music after all), and highly recommend this place! The spacious screened porch was a special favorite: 19 species of birds identified (via Merlin app) on our first morning as we prepared to set out for the day.

Summary: It was really easy to access the house and there was a really great write up as far as what was expected and how to perform the actions. I was initially hoping for a snowy winter vacation but after I arrived I was grateful it wasn't snowy or icy because the driveway was steep.

Summary: This was a great place to go to enjoy nature and have a peaceful getaway - and it was very easy to get to. The screened in porch was awesome for sitting outside and enjoying the outdoors without bugs all over. Great place and highly recommend!

Summary: My husband wanted a weekend fishing trip and I agreed to accompany him, but with the understanding that I may hang at the cabin and read! This place was perfect! Better than the pictures and had everything we needed for a low key weekend. Buck Mountain is a beautiful community with lots of privacy as well as trails!
