3 Bedroom Cottage in Stone Lake

Picturesque lake front Cottage with 3 bedrooms and 1 bath. Rustic decor for that cozy cabin feel, with beautiful views of Big Stone lake. 100 feet of waterfront on almost 1/2 acre lot on dead end road. Kitchen with all cooking and eating utensils supplied. All linens and bath towels provided. Open dining area to seat 6 comfortably, eat, visit and play games. Living room area with couch, 2 reclining chairs, and daybed, along with stone fireplace, wireless internet, Apple TV with Spectrum Cable hooked up and DVD player. 2 bedrooms on main level, 1 queen bed, 1 full size bed. 3rd bedroom in the walk-out basement with full sized bed, bunk beds and couch; along with washer and dryer.
Aluminum dock for water access. Crystal clear water with gradual access to water. Pebble/sand/rocky bottom, no weeds. Fire pit with firewood provided.
Within walking distance to Stone Lake township where you will find multiple restaurants and bars, wine house, and Dollar Store for your convenience. Minutes away from well known Pine Ridge restaurant.
15 minutes away from Hayward and Sevenwinds Casino.
Approximately 2 hours from Minneapolis/St Paul, and 4 hours north from Madison WI.
During winter months renters may have to shovel walkway up to house. We will provide shovel. We will do our best to maintain this but are not local to do it routinely.

Summary: We had another lovely family stay for the Birkie. The cabin was clean, warm and cozy during the really cold part of the week. And with snow this year, we could ski right down to and around on the lake. The new stone on the fireplace is lovely and we enjoyed the fire every day. Great communication with the owners and they kindly let us add to our party when a coach friend had their housing fall through. We love this cabin and are appreciative and thankful for having such a nice place to stay for the week.

Summary: I was saddened to see the steps to the dock were missing but the neighbor said they had broken and you planned to have them fixed (great news). The dryer is not working properly and the basement could use a better dehumidifier. Otherwise the property is perfect and we intend to rebook for next year. Thank you!

Summary: This was our 3rd year here, and we're hoping to come back again next year to make even more memories! The cabin has everything you need to enjoy your stay. We had a beautiful stretch of weather so we all enjoyed swimming, paddleboarding, and watching the stunning sunsets. You can walk to town and grab a bite to eat at the Stone Lake Pub. There's a coffe/craft beer shop close by too. Thanks again for opening your place to us, Tanya and Josh!
