Newly remodeled efficiency studio apartment. It’s on 2nd floor accessible only by stairs. It has a private entrance, bathroom, and kitchenette (built-in electric cooktop/stove, mini fridge). The property is fenced and gated. We offer free parking on property.
It’s in one of the oldest neighborhoods in the city. Most of the houses were built in the the early 1900s or even in the late 1800s. The neighborhood is in the process of being revamped where houses are being restored.
We live in the main house (separate building) on the property. We work from home. You’ll see us doing house chores and yard work. We respect your privacy.
The studio is less than 2 miles to downtown: the Alamo, Tower of the Americas, Henry B. Gonzalez convention center, the river walk mall, and Alamodome. It takes 5-6 minute drive or 30 minute walking. There are also bus stops nearby.
It’s walking distance to a couple of local breweries: Freetail, Blue Star) and Roosevelt Park: a public park with facilities such as public swimming pool (open only in summer), basketball courts, barbecue pits. We’re also a few blocks from the Hike and Bike-river walk-trail connecting all the historic Spanish missions including the Alamo
We’re downtown living. Expect some noise from traffic, train, early morning joggers, and neighborhood dogs. We provide EARPLUGS and SLEEP MASKS for our light sleeper guests.

Summary: This was a great location and a really cute and cozy apartment. The property manager was super nice and helpful and even let me take an extra parking spot by moving his car so me and my partner could both park on site. I hope to be back soon!

Summary: Cute studio that has it all! Hosts Ray and Derrick have thought of everything that we needed during our stay for the Final Four, including laundry soap which was needed when I accidentally splashed a bit of salad dressing on a shirt. Super easy commute to downtown San Antonio and the freeways if you want to explore other areas of the city. We appreciated the gated parking area and felt very safe and secure on the property. Hosts are very responsive. I would highly recommend!

Summary: The appartment was really clean. The owner left a few snack which was good because we arrived late. About a 40 min walk to downtown.we felt safe in the neighbor even though in an older section of town

Summary: Derrick was very helpful and friendly. Simple and adequate studio. Great washer and dryer. 10 min from downtown. Park close by. Secured gated home. Would gladly stay there again.

Summary: When I saw the wall color, I thought, “we have to stay here!” When I saw the room in person, I knew we found a winner. The hosts are so nice and the property is so quiet. They left us the perfect amount of amenities to help with our first days’ worries including tons of coffee pods for the keurig. There is a lot of road work being done, but we had zero issues with Uber/Lift. They are close enough that downtown is cheap to get to by ride or bus, as are several tourist spots. Completely recommend staying here 100%.

Summary: This was perfect for my husband and I staying in town for my sons Air Force bootcamp graduation at Lackland. Very clean. Communication with the host was excellent. Super close to the Riverwalk and only took us about 20 minutes at most to get to the base. Definitely recommend if you are staying in the area!
