The home offers 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms including a master suite with walk in tile shower, upgraded kitchen and appliances, washer and dryer, patio deck, fire pit, plenty of parking, and a backyard.

The space
The Cozy Encounter is a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom, ranch style home. Two bedrooms have queen size beds, and the third bedroom has 2 twin beds.
The home includes a stocked kitchen, washer and dryer, and all the essentials (linens, toilet paper, soap, shampoo, conditioner, paper towels, trash bags, etc). Complimentary coffee pods, creamer, and sweetener are also provided.
The home offers a nice deck to the backyard with fire pit (firewood not provided-although most of the local gas stations sell firewood bundles).
The house is conveniently located approximately only a 15 minute drive to The Ark Encounter, 40 minutes to The Creation Museum, 1 hour to Lexington, and 35 minutes to Cincinnati.

There is a fire pit that that can be used as well.
Since the home is located on a quiet dead-end street it is in a perfect location for evening walks and is kid friendly. Woven wired fence has been removed and replaced by wooden privacy fence around perimeter of the property.

Summary: the house was very nice and clean, we sat outside talking for hours, so the neighbor hood is safe, we all slept great, 100% recommended, if i ever go back or know of someone going there i’ll make sure to let them know about this wonderful house

Summary: We had a wonderful time. We were all able to be together in one place. Didn’t have to worry about bothering anyone or them bothering us. It was close to the Ark Encounter. Was a very pleasant place to stay.

Summary: My wife and I along with my sister and her husband spent the week here. We visited the Ark Encounter and the Creation Museum and the 40 Days of music. It was a blessed time and will definitely do it again!! The house had everything we needed and was a wonderful place for all of us to stay. Awesome eating places near by and the local people were so nice and friendly! We will definitely be back!

Summary: We've had a good family reunion and the only regrets was that it was too short. Thank you for facilitating that. We loved the large island. As a suggestion, some condiments would come very handy in the kitchen.

Summary: The location worked great for our visit to the ARK and zip up the Interstate to the Creation Museum. There was plenty of room, and everything was clean and updated.

Summary: Stay could be more enjoyable with the addition of few amenities. The Coffee maker was 15 years old, with no instructions and not cleaned from previous use. Plus an older individual coffee cup device that looks horrible. Internal maintenance is required, ie, caulking, painting, and wall chips. Removal of linens is ludicrous and instructions to place used towels in a non-existent laundry basket . A fee was added for cleaning to take care of most of these items. A strange instruction was written on guest arrival info to contact host if any concerns are noted, but no number was given to call and host response was delayed by hours. The power went out in the house for several hours, but notice was unavailable.Overall, this property was graded a ‘C’ by me because of a frugal effort to lower their cost at the expense of the guests. The obvious lack of amenities and repairs is indicative of a host trying to save money and enjoy the fruits of guests looking for a place to stay in the beautiful state of Kentucky. My recommendation would be to do necessary internal maintenance, provide some additional amenities, and remove the only provided item in the cabinet which is someone’s used ibuprofen. Additionally when someone is traveling from miles away and leaving their home , it would be nice to receive information about the property before having to inquire. Two days before stay is unacceptable IMHO.But my grands did enjoy the dog next door and looked forward to seeing each day. Regards
