A perfect home away from home for friends, families or business travelers in the area with their families. It is ideal for those looking to travel to Washington, D.C. but come home to a quiet neighborhood. Your home features 4 bedrooms, 3 full baths, a movie room, living room, fully equipped kitchen, dining room, and a private backyard/outdoor space with an enclosed fence.

Upon entering the home, you'll step into the foyer where you will see the cozy movie room with a large TV and plush couch and pillows on the left-hand side. On the right you are welcomed by our picnic style dining table, with the kitchen behind it. The living room is straight ahead with a large sectional couch. The beautiful dining area, living room space and kitchen areas are perfectly situated and connected, creating an inviting open space for your entire group to engage in intriguing conversations, gather, dine-in and wine-down. From the kitchen area is the exit to the fully fenced backyard area. On the main level there is also access to our first bedroom, with a full bath located right next to it.
The home features hardwood floors throughout with stairs leading you to the 2nd level of the home where you will find your 3 additional bedrooms and full-size bathrooms. The master bedroom has a king-sized bed, a TV, and a full bathroom with tub connected. Our additional bedroom contains 2 beds, one queen and one twin and is connected to a shared full bathroom. Our final bedroom contains 1 queen sized bed and a desk for a designated workspace.

Guests have access to bedrooms, kitchen, laundry, bathrooms, and two living room spaces.
Restricted areas include: Basement, Office Space past the laundry room, and the garage.

Summary: This is the 2nd year in a row that my family has stayed here for Christmas. The house is lovely with more than enough room. It was clean, nicely decorated, kitchen was stocked with utensils. Host responded quickly if needed. Highly recommend, we look forward to coming back in the future!

Summary: Great place to spread out. Cool big house. 15 minutes walk to Shady Grove metro station. Beds were great. Master bath big and cool features. The basement is separate and is rented out. You can hear them. Just something to be aware of.

Summary: We stayed with son, daughter in law and two grandchildren ages 4 and 3. The house is very spacious and comfortable . The listing disclosed that there are tenants in the basement which we expected . However , they are quite noisy and the sound does come up the stairs and can easily be heard in the family room and main floor when they are active downstairs with their children . We did not expect that much noise but it was not a big issue . The house manager was extremely responsive and helpful . However what was not disclosed was that he lives in the building in the apartment above the garage and has a door accessible to the laundry room upstairs . We could latch the door from our side to assure privacy but would have liked to know that going in . What was disturbing was that at some point the laundry facilities were used during our stay without notifying us . Our clothes were moved out of the dryer and it was our understanding this was for our exclusive use . This made us a bit uncomfortable knowing someone had entered the property without our knowledge especially since we have small children . If the laundry room is to be shared that needs to be disclosed to renters . All of that said though, the house was very nice and we would probably stay there again . It would have been helpful to have a couple of additional directions on the master shower temperature control and the hallway shower where hot was cold and vice versa , but overall good large house for a family trip with ample space to be comfortable and a nice backyard and responsive management .
