Positive: It was interesting to see an old, traditional house. The house is situated close to the see. The view is nice, even in spite of some old wooden shed which is falling apart. The house has a lot of rooms, though the rooms are small. The kitchen is the most spacious room in the house and it is equipped with most of the things you need. The only thing I missed in the kitchen was a toaster. No issues with hot water. Soap, shampoo and conditioner is provided. There is a parking in front of the house. Fossa waterfall is ca 3 km from the house.
Negative: In the description of the house it was stated as follows: "The holiday home is composed of 4 separate bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and 2 bathrooms." 2 bathrooms was one of the reasons for me to choose this house. - there are no 2 bathrooms; there is only 1 bathroom and 1 separate toilet - there are 4 bedrooms, but only one is suitable for adults. In the 3 very small bedrooms there are narrow and short beds. My first impression was: these beds are for children. In my opinion the house is suitable for a couple with 2 or 3 children, but not for 5 adults. High or obese adult persons would not be able to sleep comfortable in any of these 3 small beds. One bedroom has no door! We were 3 women staying in 3 rooms, we are all thin and not that high so we could manage, but I can't imagine my son who is 190 cm in any of these small beds. The description of the house should be more adequate. - there are some ugly steep and narrow stairs that are connecting the bedrooms with the living room, which is not shown on the pictures. People with difficulties in getting around will not be able to reach the bedrooms, as all 4 are upstairs. I'm in doubt if very small children would be able to climb the stairs or get down without falling down. There are many pictures of the house, but no picture of the stairs. I think you should add one. Everything on the pictures looks bigger than it is in real. - there is a strange smell in the house when you come in, you get quickly used to it and you forget about it after 5 minutes, but it would be nice to get rid of it. - it would be great if the owner could get rid of the old, falling apart shed, which is destroying the nice view.
Summary: Traditional old house, a little disappointing...

Positive: The house is an old, traditional one with a nice view, close to the see. The house is big and spacious, equipped with most of the things you need for a good trip. No issue with hot water or heating. There is a parking in front of the house. Fosa waterfall at 5 minutes and the most beautiful beach (Tjornuvik) at 10 minutes by car.
Negative: We had the following issues: -we were having some issue finding the house as we don't have internet at that time. The village is small and it has 3 entrances where you can go inside the village by car. It would be nice to tell from the beginning to use the seconds entrance, otherwise people can search for the house for a while. - the heating was turned off when we arrived (11PM) and all the windows were open. It would be nice to have the heating on at least in the leaving and bedroom, otherwise we are freezing for a few hours :) - there were a lot of very small spiders around the toilet: I got rid of them but it was not a pleasure. - there was hair in the shower: we are paying different service fees so we are expecting to find the house clean. But it wasn't. - there is a very oldish smell in the house, like everywhere! It's not something you can't live with, but it would be nice to get rid of that. - there are some ugly stairs that are connecting the bedrooms with the living room, which is not on the pictures. People with difficulties in getting around will not be able to reach the bedrooms, as all 3 are upstairs. Most of these things are small things and they can be easily fixed by the owner during the next stays.
Summary: Good value for money, old house with lot of space.
