1 Bedroom Cottage in Ocracoke

Cozy Cottage, perfect for couples or small families. Short walk away from the inlet and all the shops and restaurants surrounding. This is a 350 sq ft cottage. This beautiful bungalow is completed with a queen size bed, a pull out couch (full), a full bathroom, a large outside shower, tv, internet, kitchenette with large dorm sized refrigerator and freezer, small kitchen sink, and hot plate with pots and pans. Recently renovated because of Hurricane Dorian, we have also added an outside shower to a list of the amenities, and If you are looking to escape and enjoy the freedom from the hustle and bustle of day to day life, this is your perfect island paradise. Don't forget the dogs! Dogs are allowed for a small additional fee.
Please leave the cottage better than you found it! We do not provide linens, towels, or paper products. This is my personal cottage, so please respect it as if it were your grandmothers :). Check in is at 2pm, Check out is 11am. If you have any specific request don’t hesitate to ask, I promise you I’m a friendly fellow. There are golf carts available at the house one is dedicated for guest use. Information on how rent are in the house.

Summary: This property is very dilapidated. There are a lot of things that are broken inside. The floor is messed up with so many steps up and down. I would not stay here again.

Summary: I have nothing but good to say about this cute little house. It was tucked away in the center of Ocracoke just enough for privacy but close enough in town to ride the golf cart right down the street to all the shops and restaurants. The inside was decorated so nicely and very cozy. Me, my mom, and my lab had an amazing time.. We will definitely book again in the near future!

Summary: Ocracoke is always a lovely place to visit. I was disappointed in the cottage we had booked this past trip. The toilet seat was loose and literally broken on one side . I tried to contact the owner in reference to this , but just like all the other messages I had sent to him, there was no response. I did not consider the cottage to be very clean. We did enjoy the little deck on the front of the cottage .

Summary: This property was all we hoped for! Great location and wonderful deck! The golf cart was an added bonus! The bed was very comfortable and the outside shower was great!! The one small change that might be considered would be a more comfortable sofa in the living area! We hope to be back next year!!!

Summary: Overall a great place to stay for a short trip to Ocracoke. It’s perfect for a couple on a budget that doesn’t plan on spending much time in the house. If you like to cook I wouldn’t recommend it just because there’s not much room to do much and you’re limited to a hot plate, toaster oven, and microwave. But the bed is comfy and the ac did a great job keeping the place cool and you can’t beat the location.

Summary: Basic little cottage, but met our needs. Good location, comfy bed. Only minor negative is having to clean the bathroom before leaving. I've never stayed in a cottage in Ocracoke (or anywhere) where I was expected to do more than sweep and take out the trash. We would stay there again.
