Negative: It's off the beaten path. However, it's so peaceful. It's very much worth the drive. I don't recommend driving the road at night for the first time.

Positive: Loved being in a country environment. Enjoyed having family dinners around the table. The teens liked playing the games downstairs and walking in the yard weather permitting. Everything was clean and comfortable.

Negative: We arrived later in the evening & picked up keys from a newsagents a little drive away. When we got to the property the keys didn't open the door as it had been double locked and we were only given one key. We had to contact staybeyond, when taking to a gentleman I told him the door had been locked with another key and explained it was double locked, he kept telling me to try it again..I did around 5 times. He then made me send him an email of a video of me trying to unlock the door to see what it was doing because obviously my word wasn't good enough. We then were told we just had to wait for him to contact me with a solution but he didn't know how long it would be. We literally were told to sit and wait. After around 40 mins he called me back to say we had been given the wrong keys and had to be emailed another code to go back the key pick up point to get another set, this is not a close location to the flat. Once we got the correct keys and got in the flat it quite nice, however it is let down by many things that would be easily fixable such as, broken floor tiles that would cause an injury if stood on, stained carpets, broken bathroom window handle so couldn't open and no extractor,bath beading off, door hands falling off on bedroom door, no door number on flat door so you have to guess which is yours, and most importantly the banister rail at the top of the stairs if unsafe to hold and would break if lent on.
