Cozy, remodeled cottage located on Seneca lake, and just a few miles from the outlet trail, local farm stands, wineries, and breweries. (Approximately, 10 minutes from Penn Yan, and 25 minutes from Watkins Glen). The cottage is located on a quiet dead-end road that makes it perfect for walking or biking (2 bikes available for use).
Pack your bags to stay in a home that provides all the necessities needed for a family style stay-- washer/dryer combo, coffee maker, full size fridge and oven, plates, cups, utensils, just about anything you'll need to cook in when you don't feel like going out.
Rooms are made up for your stay, with the bathroom being stocked with towels, shampoo, hairdryer, and toilet paper. Home has spectrum Wifi to stay connected and a SmartTV to stream shows. Outside you'll find a grill, bonfire pit, and plenty of seating to enjoy sunrises! There is a total of 70' lake frontage, with a stone beach (wade level entry) to put the two available kayaks and SUP (lifejackets are available for use as well) in for daily fun. There is also a wave runner lift available if that's more your style (boat launch nearby). But remember to bring your water shoes and beach towels! The lawn area includes a picnic table and corn hole boards available to renters as well.
Coming down to the lake front home, there are two options 1) many steps or 2) the elevator that can only be operated by an adult (elevator has been upgraded with safety features to safely transport renters and their things to and from the lake). Contact hosts lives nearby if you need child related necessities for your stay, such as pack and play, or highchair.

Summary: The house was the perfect amount of space for my husband and me and our two little boys, and it was absolutely spotless. We loved being right on the water and the peace (and fun) that this location offered. Lovely and helpful hosts who obviously care a great deal about this property and their guests. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

Summary: Jeff and Jeanne were friendly, welcoming and helpful. The house is well equipped indoors and outdoors. We enjoyed swimming, fishing and canoeing- all equipment provided by the owners. If I am ever in Penn Yan again I will stay their lakefront house.

Summary: We had an amazing time! A slice of heaven on Seneca lake. We loved the proximity to wineries and the elevator was a huge plus! Incredible hosts and house is spotless. Would absolutely stay again!!!

Summary: We had a great stay! Our hosts were so friendly and welcoming. The location was wonderful-right on the lake with great places to sit and enjoy it. Plus kayaks and a paddle board to use on the lake. The house was so cute and clean. We would definitely go back again.

Summary: Newly remodeled, comfortable, clean lake house with lots of places inside and out to enjoy watching the lake. Hosts are super nice and easy to communicate with. Journey up and down on the elevator the hill is easy and safe. Highly recommend.

Summary: The cabin is CLEAN and has everything you need stocked for a good time on the water. You really can’t beat the location of this place both in proximity to the lake and everything else you would want to do (wineries, Watkins Glenn, Geneva…). Our weekend consisted of 2 visits to the trails at Watkins glenn, multiple wineries, coffee on the dock and dinner/wine by the fire pit. Can’t wait to come back in the summer to be able to play IN the water. Couldn’t recommend this place more!!

Summary: We had a wonderful time in Lake Seneca! This cottage was perfect for our family to enjoy the beautiful lake & surrounding attractions. We loved kayaking, paddle boarding and just living a relaxing lake life for a few days. Watkins Glen is a must see! The cottage is newly renovated & super clean! Jeff & Jeanne were wonderful hosts and we can’t wait to get back!

Summary: Jeff and Jeanne are fabulous hosts with a wonderful lake front cottage. The dock, cabana, outdoor seating, outdoor activities (kayak, SUP, corn hole, floats, etc.) added to the experience in addition to a bottle of wine from Fox Run. The super clean house has everything you need including some games for rainy days. Close to Watkins Glen, an hour from Lake Ontario, and hour and a half from Letchworth state park. Would love to come back!
