3 Bedroom Cottage in Town of Torrey, Penn Yan

Dalton Lakeside Cottage is the perfect place for a peaceful getaway with family, friends and good neighbors. Located on a quiet private road, you will pass through a narrow but short underpass that is not an issue for a full size pickup or SUV. The cottage features 3 bedrooms, 1 bath with a kitchen and living room. We prefer you to use the screened windows to keep cool, but there is an option for A/C if needed. We have a RokuTV that allows guests to sign into their streaming services. High speed internet is also available provided by Spectrum. You will be spending most of your days outside grilling on the covered Front deck while your kids playing in the secured back yard or enjoying your time relaxing on Dalton Landing watching the sunrise and sunset as you enjoy your morning coffee or your evening glass of wine. Relax by the outdoor fire-pit at night. There is a charming and historic train that runs by the house. The train has no set schedule but does go slow and the conductor will even blow the whistle for you if you wave to them. There is also a long dock for your convenience, whether you choose to fish from the dock, rent a boat at Roy's Marina or bring your own boat. The cottage is a short drive from a local farmers market called "The Windmill" and about 30 min drive from the waterloo shopping outlets. This is a wonderful cottage that is perfect for that quiet weekend we all need with family and friends. If this sounds like the place for you, please submit your booking request to lock in your dates. Ask about boat docking and trailer storage. We do not supply a washer & dryer but list of laundromats will be available at the cottage. There are also 2 security cameras located on each corner of the front of the house, these are used for security purposes only, there are no other cameras in any guest areas of the cottage.

Summary: The owner is amazing with great communication. The place has an inviting cottage feel with a beautiful view of the lake. It is not difficult to walk down to the dock where we saw carp.. It had everything we needed. I loved that our dog was welcome to join us.

Summary: Very clean with everything you'd need at home away from home. Host is very attentive! Wasn't the best location for us, however this was my first trip to the area. I would have chosen a place closer to one of the cities. The bedrooms and bathroom are quite small. Front porch is nice and large.

Summary: Enjoyed the cottage and time with the family. Grilled steaks, hotdogs and hamburgs on the gas grill provided on the back deck. Fenced in back yard worked out well with the dogs. Fishing started out slow with high winds and rain but the last day was gorgeous and we ended up catching 4 lakers.

Summary: What a cute, cozy home! Very clean! Beautiful views and great wineries close by!! Close to Keuka Lake and on Seneca!!! Would recommend a small group though in the home!! Lovely accomodations! Comfortable beds!!!!

Summary: Located at the end of a dirt road along the lake, this cozy home leaves little to be desired. It’s off the beaten path and provides seclusion as well close proximity to the wide variety of wineries and towns in the area. The host was wonderful; calling before our arrival to ensure there were no questions, and informing us of a temporary power outage the day we were to arrive. The home was well kept, fully stocked, and clean upon our arrival. The Finger Lakes is one of my favorite vacation destinations and I would happily stay at this location again.
