Light and airy comfortable double-room located in the loft area of a contemporary home, with it's own private bathroom and small study. Situated on a quiet road in beautiful Chiswick, West London and perfectly located for nice restaurants and good public transport routes into the center of London Town.
Please note: We have two pet Cats that live at the house so it would be inadvisable to stay if you have a cat allergy.
The house is a 20 minute taxi ride from Heathrow Airport and 30 minutes into Central London using the Tube. It is a 5 minute walk to the nearest Tube Station (Gunnersbury) which services the District Line and Overland Line. You can reach all the major attractions from this station – Kew Gardens, Science Museum, V&A Museum, and Natural History Museum. Chiswick Business Park is also 5 minutes away.
We are a 10 minute walk into Chiswick Town where there is a large Supermarket, shops and a multitude of good restaurants and bars along the High Road.
The house is shared with myself and my two daughters who live with me for 50% of their time. I'm usually working in my office so the shared Dinning Room and Kitchen areas will be for your own usage for most of the time.
The bedroom has a double-bed, a wardrobe, draws and shelving unit. It comes with it's own bathroom - toilet, sink and shower unit. There is a small study room off from the bedroom with a table, chair and draws. Broadband internet access is freely accessible.

Summary: Colin is very friendly and kept me and my husband quite comfortable during our stay. Check in was easy and Colin took the time to show us around the house, gave us tips on local places to visit, and provided every amenity we needed. When our flight home was cancelled, Colin allowed us to stay an extra night and made sure we had everything we needed. The loft is very cosy and clean! Everything is exactly as pictured/described in the listing. The location is great as well. We felt very safe in the area and it's a beautiful neighborhood to explore. It's also a straightforward transit trip into central London and there are nice cafes, restaurants, and a grocery store within a few minutes walk. Overall, we had an excellent stay--it felt like staying with family/friends! We would definitely stay again and recommend Colin's place to others. Thanks again, Colin, for being a wonderful host and keeping such a lovely home.

Summary: Colin is so wonderful! He gave good recommendations and conversation. Colin's home is very near a tube station and bus stops which makes using the public transit wonderful. Nice restaurants, pubs and cafes are within walking distance. The bed and bathroom was very comfortable. The temperature outside was so nice, we kept the windows open for the breeze. Would stay again!

Summary: I picked this home on the basis of the reviews. But I couldn't have imagined how kind and involved Colin was in anything I needed. He offered well thought out solutions for any problem I had. We had many conversations on all kinds of topics. He went out of his way to help. His girls are lovely. He has created a very welcoming and well-appointed home. The wi-fi is great. I loved the kitchen facilities and utensils. The bed and pillows were super comfy. I asked what brand they were! All top quality. The bathroom was spotless, bright and had good ventilation especially as it got hot over the Easter weekend. There's so much storage. I spent a lot of time in my little study working and was comfortable. The location is so convenient from the tube. There's a thriving high street a short walk away. I really enjoyed my time here, which was relaxing and interesting. I felt completely at home. No amount of compliments will do Colin and his home justice. Thank you, Colin!

Summary: Once again we had a great experience. It’s a 3rd floor room with private bath which is wonderful and it’s very affordable. The location is fantastic- super close to the tube, bus line, and Thames tow path. It’s perfect for my husband and which is why we have stayed in the past and will stay again in the future. Colin is a pleasure.

Summary: I came to London to look for an apartment before the start of the school year. Collin was such a wonderful host! First and foremost, the loft is true to the pictures! The bed is wonderful (I slept well every night) and the rain shower is great! There is a space to the side of the room that is a little office. I kept my luggage there and worked from the desk. The house is clean, warm and inviting. Collin is one of the friendliest guys you will EVER meet and he keeps a beautiful home. His place is located near the Gunnersbury train station so you have quick access to the tube. If you are coming from Heathrow, you can take Piccadilly to Gunnersbury to get to Collin's within 35 minutes! There are lots of great restaurants to fit every taste and boutiques to shop from that are all within walking distance of his house. There are also several small grocery stores (Co-op, M&S, Sainsbury Local, and Tesco Express, etc.) if you want to cook or grab a quick snack. Collins girls are adorable. For me, seeing Collin interact with his children was an added bonus. I would encourage anyone who is thinking about this space to book! You will have a wonderful stay!

Summary: Colin was the perfect host and the room was more than adequate for our needs as we spent all of our days exploring, with Windsor Castle and Eaton one day, the Buckingham Palace State Rooms and London one day and Kew Gardens and a show in London's West end Theater district another day. The location was perfect to get to all of these great sights. It also had great access to the local stores and restaurants. Colin was very accommodating and provided some great recommendations. His hospitality was excellent. Highly recommend this place for a stay.
