Choose between Potomac Avenue Metro (1 block away) or take an easy 5 block walk to the Eastern Market Metro(rail) or hop on the Metrobus at the end of the block, 13th St, SE. If you are driving, there is public street parking available on the block. (We can provide a visitor's pass)
There is no shortage of restaurants to suit your taste all within a 4-5 block radius on Barracks Row.

Summary: Our family enjoyed our week-long stay at this rental. The apartment was in a convenient, safe neighborhood and was a short five-minute walk from the Potomac rail station (orange, silver and blue lines). The apartment was extremely clean and spacious and matched the listing description exactly. The hosts did a great job stocking the kitchen and communication before check-in was excellent. We would stay at this location again the next time we are in DC.

Summary: Just spent the last few days in this gem in DC. Perfect location, short walk to the metro in a nice quiet neighborhood. The host is very accommodating and very clean . Will def stay here if ever in the DC area again and will recommend to anyone I know traveling to the area!

Summary: This was a fantastic VRBO experience! We did not rent a car for the time we were visiting DC area, and this location was perfect. It’s a short walk to the grocery store, and there’s a metro quite close, which is how we got around. We were here with our two kids, and the area felt very safe. The hosts were easy to communicate with both prior to and during our stay. Overall a great experience!

Summary: Great place, very clean and the host were great people. When we arrived, check in was easy and everything that was listed was on point! The metro, grocery, CVS everything is walking distance. We had a great stay and DC is something to see!

Summary: Communication with Darryl & Daphne were great. So glad it was just a few steps down to get in. Everything was well thought out in the apartment. Kitchen was well equipped, bathroom had everything you need from blow dryer to hair products and body washes. Plenty of space. Close to metro and subway. Thank you for such a nice stay!
