Built in the 1858, the Old Brewery Inn has loads of character. 1500 sq ft have been renovated into a cozy home away from home. Enjoy nature right in your backyard and minutes from the river with plenty of room for boat parking.
There are 4 cozy queen beds available for much needed relaxation, each bed has 4 pillows and quality comforters as well as plenty of extra blankets. Your basic necessities are met with a dresser, reading lamp, clothes racks, garbage and full length mirrors.
The fully stocked kitchen is ready for any family, couple or friends getaway fun. The refrigerator has bottled water, basic condiments, ice and a ice luge are waiting in the freezer. All the utensils you'll need as well as spices, flour/sugar, coffee, creamer and more!
The bathroom has all you will need for your visit. Individual bottles of shampoo, conditioner, lotion, body wash and soap are available. Forgot your toothpaste, hairspray, comb or hair dryer? We have that too! All stored on a built-in with towels and wash clothes next to the bathroom.
The living room/dining room have plenty of seating to enjoy one another's company or watch whatever you'd enjoy on the 55 in TV, a Roku is available to watch any streaming service you have!
The game room offers loads of fun with puzzles, cards, poker chips, Uno and more, a multi-use game table stores small scale pool, foosball, air hockey or ping pong. Kids toys and books are available for the littles too!
Enjoy any laundry you have to do in our spacious vintage-retro styled laundry room, laundry soap provided!
The patio offers a chiminea fireplace, outdoor sectional and adirondack chairs, grill, corn hole, and a place for the kiddos to play.

Summary: Love the refurbished look of this home decorated for fall.The kitchen is a dream! They provide every amenity you can possibly think of. The Teflon coating on the pan for boiling was peeling off and unusable. We did find one at Dollar General that we donated. We bought our food at DG and the grocery store which was cheaper than our Sunshine store back home. There are 4 queen beds, so sleeping was comfortable. The bathroom was clean with plenty of towels and other amenities. The living room could have used just one more chair, but we made do. There is a fabulous patio in the back with a grill and fire pit. Unfortunately we did not spend a lot of time out there. The furniture was wicker with cloth seats and got soaked from the rain. There is an electric fireplace, washer, dryer and toy room that our big boys had fun with. Plenty of dishes, coffee & maker, spices and condiments in the fridge. Dishwasher was very nice. Microwave came in handy. Stove & fridge worked as they should. Getting upstairs was no problem. There is quite a step at the front and back entrance to the house and an uneven entry from the kitchen to the living room. We all tripped on it at least once. Wondering if a gold or copper threshold would draw more attention and a reminder? Front deck with furniture was handy for sitting outdoors. The sunshine dried them and we brought them in at night. A very quiet neighborhood and town is easy to get around. There are beautiful things to see in this area.

Summary: my sisters and I met to celebrate birthdays and sisterhood. The Old Brewery was a good fit for us. We don't need much to entertain us, just a good kitchen, a cozy place to sit and talk, and comfy sleeping. This VRBO fit the bill. The house was clean, well stocked, quiet, and had a good ambiance. I hope the owners decide to restore the rest of this great property.

Summary: Clean, and decorated for holidays. The huge kitchen island is where we spent most of our time. My sister looked at this place before it was bought and remodeled and was shocked by the difference today. We enjoyed our time here. On a side note, as others have pointed out, this home is not recommended for people with mobility issues.

Summary: This was the perfect place to have our family Thanksgiving. We loved the kitchen with the huge island. The living room was so cozy but had plenty of seating to watch the football games. The table was great for playing games and we could still see the TV. All the bedrooms were cute and cozy. Everything was clean. We had everything we needed.. Loved all the decor. If it was warmer we would have utilized the outside fire pit in the back. We will definitely be back.

Summary: Check in was smooth, we found the house pretty easily. Although the house was well stocked and nicely decorated and it was not "dirty". There were a lot of cobwebs and several visitors ranging from spiders to wasps. Perhaps it had been sometime time since the house was last rented. It was a bit disconcerting though. Inspite of that we enjoyed ourselves. I would caution anyone staying here that there are level changes at many doorways that can be startling and perhaps a bit dangerous if you are not nimble or fairly cautious. But enjoy this place for what it is a wonderful quirky historic building and enjoy!
