Family-friendly Trailside condo at the revitalized and delightfully retro Magic Mountain, where skiing still has a soul!
This ski-on/ski-off 1 bedroom condo has a queen bed as well as twin bunk beds. The super-comfortable sectional couch has a queen-sized pull-out with a new gel-foam mattress. Linens and towels are included. There is also a fully equipped eat-in kitchen with an adjacent living room.
Enjoy fabulous views of Magic lodge from the comfort of your condo. You will be steps to the ski lifts and trails through lower-level ski locker storage area. The condo is fitted with high-speed wireless internet and a 55'' Smart TV. The Trailside condos building has a large common area/game room complete with billiards, ping-pong, foosball and air hockey tables. There is a common area hot tub & sauna (winter only), and very basic workout room available for use on the ground floor, as well as a coin-operated laundry room. For skiers, Magic Mountain operates during the day Thursdays through Sundays and all full holiday weeks, and also offers snow tubing. Check their website for info and operating hours. For skiers on other days, it is only a short drive to Bromley, Stratton, or Okemo Ski Areas.
Vermont is wonderful in the summer season as well. Magic offers disc golf and hiking. Close by you have Bromley adventure park and Stratton mountain offering a variety of activities. Magic also now offers seasonal fall foliage rides and chairlift rides on the green chair to Sunshine Corner. Paddlers will enjoy nearby Lowell Lake which has a great kayak/canoe launch and a large area to explore. Walk down to the Magic base lodge to visit the Black Line Tavern!

Summary: Brian was fantastic to work with!! Extremely responsive and helpful. Place was exactly as described. Easy on and off to the lifts for skiing. Everyone in the condo complex was very nice & friendly. Would definitely stay again!

Summary: We enjoyed our stay at this ski on ski off condo. With 16 inches of snow overnight we were in the perfect position for a powder day. Plus a short walk to the Black Line Tavern for dinner. The owner is very responsive and helpful and made our stay even more enjoyable.

Summary: Even with not so great skiing conditions, we had a blast! The condo location and accessibility to the chair lifts, lively restaurant/bar was incredible. The ski locker was so key for storing everything so that we could just pop out in the morning without carrying all of our stuff. The game room was a huge hit for my boys. We will definitely be back!

Summary: What a great property! If you love VT, or you are thinking about visiting for the first time, put this Cozy Trailside Condo on Magic Mountain on you list of places to stay. The home has comfortable furnishings, it is very clean, there were "hotel" sized shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and bar soap left for us, and Brian the owner is spectacular. If I had a question, he was very quick to respond. The condo is located on Magic Mountain which has a great vibe, and everyone is so nice (at Trailside, and at the Mountain itself. We enjoyed early evening firepits in the common outdoor area, played with people's dogs, and then popped down to The Black Line Tavern at Magic Mountain for a couple drinks and lite fare. The mornings provided us with light hikes up the mountain, and my son had fun using his metal detector to search for skiers lost items (he didn't find any). Fun for the entire family. We can't wait to stay at Trailside again.

Summary: We had a great weekend skiing at Magic this weekend and this condo was perfect for our family of 4. I’d suggest adding a shade to the bedroom window, little ones were up early with the sun. Otherwise everything was great and appreciated a late check out so we could easily ski the day. We’ll be back!

Summary: The condo was very spacious with great open living space. Plenty of room for everything we needed. All amenities were as described and in good working order. Parking access was easy and close. Really convenient to have a ski locker at the location! Would definitely rent this place again for our next ski weekend! Brian was very helpful and went out of his way to return a forgotten item. A great experience overall :)

Summary: Great clean condo slope side at Magic Mtn. The living/dining area is spacious and couch is very comfortable to relax in. We did not cook but kitchen seemed to have all the necessary appliances and there was a Keureg coffee maker and owner left some K-cups which was a nice bonus. Bathroom and bedroom are good sizes and clean. Owner, Brian, was quick to respond to questions and provided all needed info prior to check in. Parking was convenient and lot was plowed. I would definitely recommend Brian's condo for small family or couples.
