The house is located on a private secluded 11 acre wooded estate in the picturesque village of Peru, Vermont in the middle of Green Mountain National Forest.
In the winter enjoy skiing in nearby resorts of Bromley, Magic, Stratton and Okemo. Bromley Mountain, only 5 minutes away, is great for kids as well as for novice and intermediate skiers. It is so close, you can come back to the house for lunch and then back to the mountain. Two excellent x-country skiing centers, Wild Wings and Viking Nordic, are less than 10 minutes away. There are also options for snowmobiling.
If this is not enough, Manchester and its surrounding areas offer several unique and unforgettable sleigh ride experiences, including dogsledding.
In the summer enjoy numerous hiking or cycling opportunities nearby. Summary: Everything we could ask for & a beautiful view! Just as pictured! We stayed with our kids & 4 grandkids (ages 6 mo to 3 years old) & none of us wanted to go home! Conveniently located with a short drive to restaurants & shopping. Arrived at the perfect time to see all the beautiful fall colors! Would definitely rent again! Patrick was very responsive to any questions we had

Summary: We had lovely time at the property. We celebrated a special birthday with eleven adults and five children, had s'mores at the fire pit and a dance party in the basement area. Young adults liked being able to work out and the infrared sauna was wonderful! We paddle boarded and kayaked around in the lake/pond. Great place for a reunion!

Summary: This house is georgous is all I can say. It is huge to accommodate lots of people to be comfortable. It has everything you need to make a vacation tremendous and the host was super responsibe. I can't say enough about this property and host. I will definitely return. Our group of 11 loved it.

Summary: The house was great, all the amenities were as described (plus an extra kayak and a treadmill!). We enjoyed the lake, the fire pit, grills, hot tub especially, the large kitchen, etc. Having room for everyone was great. We could have used a couple of extra chairs in the dining room and some additional hand towels and utensils but overall we had a great vacation.

Summary: This house comfortably fit our family of 12 people which included kids, adults, and grandparents. Kayaking on the pond was lots of fun especially for this kids, and they also loved making s'mores at the fire pit. The house was clean, well stocked, and comfortable. The location is also great...minutes away from Bromley mountain (kids loved the Alpine slide and treetop adventures). It's also close to Manchester where our family did a lot of shopping. The owner (Patrick) was friendly and prompt in his responses to any questions. He also provided a great list of local activities to consider. We would definitely consider coming back in the future!

Summary: We enjoyed our stay at this lovely property. The house is spacious and easily handled our family of 10. The variety of equipment provided delighted the kids, especially the hot tub. Patrick was very responsive to questions both before and during our stay. The lake is private and peaceful which we found attractive and well-suited to the kids. Adults seeking longer kayak outings might prefer a larger lake.

Summary: Had a lovely stay at Patrick’s place. Our group was celebrating a family birthday and had enough room to both gather and have our individual spaces when needed. House was well stocked, clean, and private. Patrick was great with communicating, both before and during our stay.
