Summary: Everything about this home and location was amazing. The Historic neighborhood & Lake Gogebic is beautiful; having the park; beach; boat launch; fishing; etc. right outside your door. So close to the Lake Superior; Porcupine Mountains; Ontonagon; & Ironwood. We did everything in between. All the waterfalls and groomed trails just stunning. To hear the Church bells everyday felt like we were transported back in time. Quaint and charming; we walked to Antonio’s Restaurant and Ice Cream shop; & Trailside BBQ. We also had dinner from AJs Bar & Grill. All the food was very good and reasonably priced. Be prepared to bring some groceries with you as the nearest grocery store is 20-30 minutes away; but the Mobile gas station Outpost has all your basic needs. We didn’t spend any money on any of the outdoor activities; just gas. Truly one of the best vacations my Husband and I have done. I wish we didn’t have to leave; but we will be back. Bergland, Michigan a hidden gem to be explored!

Summary: We had a great stay at this clean and comfy home in Bergland. The location was perfect for our day trips. It was only a two block walk to Antonio’s where we had terrific meals.

Summary: House was very nice and perfect for our needs. We ate breakfast and dinner at the house the three days we stayed. The kitchen had all of the things we needed to prepare and cook our meals. The location was perfect. It was close to the Porcupine mountains where we hiked each day. It was also a block away from a beautiful little park on Lake Gogobec. We walked over there one evening and watched the sunset. So beautiful. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom equipped with the things we needed. There was also a washer and dryer in the basement which we used. Overall, I would give this house 5 stars. If we return to hike the Porkies again, we will definitely try and book this house again.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay at this house and it was perfect for doing some west U.P. adventures - Porkies, waterfalls, hiking... Very clean, the garage was great to use, very comfortable queen bed, and was just what we needed. Very quiet neighborhood and Antonio's food was very good. We would stay again.

Summary: This was a comfortable, well appointed and clean home perfect for a Porcupine Mountains getaway! The host was a pleasure to work with and made sure everything was ready for our stay We particularly loved the very close proximity of Lake Gogebic. Having coffee on the bench by the water every morning was a treasure. A must try is Antonio’s Cafe one block away. The food is great and the servers are so friendly we were sad to say goodbye when the trip was over!
