If you don’t feel like cooking you can find close by Giovanni Pizza, Colosseo Italian kitchen, China city, Tillys Dinner offering American kitchen or if you in mood for sushi go straight to Soy. If you would like to spend a day on a beach a Lake Superior State park is just 20 min away offering swimming in a lake, fishing or boat rentals. Summary: My family and I had a great time. We were 5 minutes from Kartrite Water Park which was the main reason for going. The house was perfect for a weekend getaway. The grounds were well kept and clean and although it was a little too cold to take advantage of the outdoor game room we were able to enjoy the hot tub which is private and enclosed. The wood burning stove was nice and the full kitchen with all you needed to cook was perfect for us. Also Walmart is a quick 3 minute drive so we were able to stock up on drinks and other stuff to make us feel at home. We would stay here again if we were to visit the area again. Thank you

Summary: We had a pleasant stay at Lyudmila's house. The house was clean and nice. We enjoyed the jacuzzi and the sauna. Lyudmila was nice and helpful. The only cons is the size of the house. On the pictures it looked much larger than it was really.

Summary: We only stayed a few nights but my children loved the yard and called it a fairy garden our dog loved the ability to explore. We had breakfast on the porch, made pizza and burgers for dinner and had a comfortable movie night. Only draw back was the refrigerator wouldn’t keep things cold but the freezer worked. Just gave us an excuse to eat out and not cook on our short vacation

Summary: The house was great, but the location wasn't what we expected. We couldn't find any public beaches on the lake nearby. Also, A/C blew a fuse and left a message for owner who never responded. We found the breaker and all was good.

Summary: We loved so much Lyudmila’s place. It was everything we were looking for. Cozy, warm, house had all gadgets you need to cook and spend an amazing weekend. We had a lot of fun! Definitely planning to be back for summer.

Summary: This is a lovely quirky space if you’re looking for a quiet cozy escape from NYC where my partner and I have taken refuge a few times now. If you visit in the winter opt for the sauna to make for a spa like experience (hot tub only available in the other three seasons). The host family is amazingly kind and attentive - you can call them for anything. And even without a call they showed up unannounced at 8am one morning when it snowed heavily overnight to clear the sidewalk and driveway for us!
