2 Bedroom Cabin in Ellijay

Recently remodeled log cabin on the Cartecay River just 5 minutes to Ellijay. This two-bedroom, two bath log cabin is the perfect getaway for up to four guests.
You have unspoiled views with 2000 acres of Department of Natural Resource land across the river. So many things to do close by, fish from the deck, raft/kayak/tube down the river, enjoy local wineries, pick apples from the nearby orchards, hike or bike the many area trails, shop and dine in downtown Ellijay. If you like to stay in, the kitchen has all amenities needed to cook at home, soak in the hot tub overlooking the river, relax on the swinging daybed on the screen porch, Smores over the firepit or watch TV in front of an indoor fireplace. Note: fireplace is disabled from mid-May to mid-September. Sorry, no pets allowed.
Rooms: The second-floor bedroom has a king bed, on-suite private bath, TV and gorgeous views up and down the river. Be lulled to sleep by the sound of the river. The first-floor bedroom has a king size bed and large closet. Bathroom is across the hall. Kitchen is fully equipped with electric range, large refrigerator with ice maker, Keurig coffee maker, microwave range hood, dishwasher and all the small appliances you need to enjoy your stay. The great room has a floor to ceiling gas fireplace with TV niche and bluetooth sound bar and can be enjoyed from the kitchen and dining room. Cook your freshly caught fish on the gas grill and enjoy dinner on the screen porch or around the dining room table taking in the views and sound of the river. If you can’t go a few days without doing laundry, a full capacity washer and dryer is provided.
Directions: The Cartecay Cabin is easy to get to just 5 minutes off highway 575 east of Ellijay. From Ellijay, take Yukon Rd to left on Clear Creek Rd to left on Bernhardt Rd down to the river then right on Whitewater Ln, second house on the left.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay from the moment we walked in the door to when we left. The cabin was beautifully decorated with a rustic feel. Hot tub was already heated and ready for us to relax. The river running behind the cabin was one of my favorite things. We even got to see a beaver swimming up stream. We will definitely go back soon.

Summary: Stayed at the cabin for three nights as part of a quiet weekend getaway. It had everything you would want out of cabin, including a push-button fireplace, a comfy bed, a tremendous view, numerous spots to lounge, and a kitchen with all the tools you need to cook dinner each night. The hot tub was delightful as well. We will definitely be back!

Summary: This cabin was phenomenal! Very spacious, cozy and clean. My husband and I took a 4 year anniversary getaway weekend here. The push button fireplace, the comfy bed and not to mention the BEAUTIFUL river out back with a porch to enjoy it from!

Summary: We really enjoyed our time here. Extremely clean and organized property stocked up with everything you need for a weekend getaway. The hot tub worked great and heated up quickly. We loved the indoor fireplace and the screened porch. The sound of the river is so peaceful! Make sure to check out nearby hiking and apple barns- we loved Hillcrest and R and A Orchards! We plan to visit again in the future. Great spot!
