Summary: My boyfriend and I stayed at this Vrbo for 8 nights. The cottage was very clean and in a fantastic and safe location just a block or two from lots of shops, restaurants, and cafes. It was quiet and the perfect size for a couple. Also, the host was very accommodating and responsive (within minutes) whenever we needed anything, so we really appreciated that as well.

Summary: We were in town for a long weekend without a car and appreciated the location - on a quiet street, close to Magazine St. and coffee shops, and a short walk to a major grocery store. The cottage was nicely furnished, as advertised, although the patio seating was missing. Comfortable bed. We didn’t cook but it looked to have everything you’d need. A few issues - the central AC wasn’t working during our stay. Not a dealbreaker since it was only mid-80s but any hotter would have been an issue with only a single window unit for 3 rooms. Also would have been good to have been told that in advance to save the time we spent trying to figure it out our first night. Ceiling fan in bedroom also not working. Bath mat looked like it hadn't been washed in some time and towels were stained. Multiple broken blinds. Needs a little TLC.

Summary: Stayed in the very comfortable backyard cottage for a month living like a local. Excellent location in a great neighborhood, two blocks off Magazine, walk to Tipitini's. This was our second stay in the cottage and can't wait till the next time.

Summary: Great locations for the Mardi Gras parades. Easy walking to most of them over the final weekend. Very clean and quite. Good street parking. Loved the bag of coffee left for us to use. Large shower with plenty of hot water. Safe neighborhood with eateries within walking distance. Great coffee shop close as well. Host was quick to respond to messages. Great WI-FI connection

Summary: We enjoyed our stay. It’s a cute little cottage in the back of a main house. It’s very quiet, and the owners in the home were very kind when we met them. It’s in a good spot if you’re going to Tipitina’s - quick walk. Never felt unsafe. Family friendly neighborhood as many people were walking/riding bikes with their kids. Note: the toilet is very close to the cabinets of the vanity, so if you’re a tall person, it might be a little cramped. There is only a tv in the front room, so if you like to watch tv to sleep, just know that. And, the mantle that is on the right side of the bed is in the way and made it difficult to move between the bed and the blocked off chimney. I had to sleep on that side due to my broken arm, so I had to be extra careful. I know I like reviews with these details, so figured I’d share. Everything was clean, and pretty much looked as shown. Will come back next time we are in the area.
