Summary: Our group of 12 adults, 2 toddlers, and a dog stayed at the Chalet and we had a blast! The location of the chalet near the start of the Sproule Creek Trail was perfect for our active group - it's a huge bonus for walking the dog and getting in a morning run. It's only about 10 minutes to the Taghum Beach, 15 minutes to Shoreacres, and 15 minutes into town, so still close enough to the action. Booking and communicating with the property owner was seamless, and we would definitely stay again in the future. Thanks for having us!

Summary: Sproule Creek Chalet was the perfect size and fit for our group of 4 families. It was easy to find and offered the remoteness we wanted. Nicole was super responsive to all of our questions before and during the booking. The house was well-equipped with all the items we needed, and even without air conditioning, we were comfortable with the fans that were supplied. There were enough rooms that offered the right amount of privacy for each family. We would highly recommend Sproule Creek Chalet for any large groups! Thank you Nicole

Summary: We all agree that it was a good holiday although there were a few problems. Faucets in the kitchen and one bathroom had to be replaced; also drains in one bathroom were very slow. But when we called about the plumbing issues, a plumber was immediately dispatched, so that was great. The downstairs sink was almost unusable without a stool--weird. No fridge downstairs, so that kitchen was not really functional. And one fridge for 16 people was an issue. The ice maker in the upstairs fridge didn't work--a real problem with the high temperatures. Top sheets were missing on three beds. We couldn't find the extra toilet paper and paper towels--they were kept under lock and key and we had to buy more, which was a nuisance. The grounds were unkempt. The telephone was so quiet we couldn't hear it ring, so we missed the housekeeper's calls. But we loved the big table for eating and games. The common areas were spacious and comfortable, and truly outstanding! We appreciated the wifi service. The house had a nice feel to it and it was a good place for our family get together! We had a great time. Thank you. One family member said, "A/C would have been a benefit. The faucet and plumbing issues were handled immediately for which we were grateful. Amy, your home rental manager, was cordial and caring."

Summary: Great stay in our old stomping grounds of Nelson. The house lent itself to keeping all of us together and enjoying the surrounding area where 3 of 4 of our girls were born. The beaches are still lovely and we went to many we visited while living here. 47 years ago. Nicole you could have a plumber fix a few taps but it can not be easy to maintain a big home and yard. Thankyou for sharing your place with us.

Summary: The property was nice. I would have given it a higher overall rating except the fridge and microwave are very small for a house that sleeps 20. There’s a partial kitchen in the basement but no fridge. That meant we were constantly freezing our ice packs so we could use our coolers- not a big deal just an irritant. Maintenance was great about bringing more fans to deal with the heat. Front door code didn’t work so had to leave a back door unlocked. I would recommend this house as it gave us the space and privacy we wanted for our group.

Summary: We got to this gorgeous property and were so excited. It fit all of our group of 11 so comfortably. When we woke (because it was dark when we arrived) and got to see how the surrounding property looked we were happily surprised! It is a stunning area! We had a few hiccups with the hottub not having the right chemicals but the owner sent someone over right away to rectify the situation, she also gave us the most beautiful charcuterie board full of yummy items to make up for it. We would stay here again for sure! Great location only a few minutes to town but far enough away from neighbours that you didn’t feel like you were on top of anybody.
