Cute, cozy, and cheery...this little ranch house is on a quiet street in the quaint fishing village of Wenona, a small community on the southern tip of Deal Island. Crabbing and oystering are a way of life on the island. It makes for a peaceful vacation retreat. Even though water view is from just one window in the house, what this does mean is that you are very close to water...just minutes from a public boat ramp! This little house lives large and pleasant with its newly remodeled kitchen offering plenty of counter space, lots of big windows and bright light, and fresh paint throughout. Summary: This is our second time staying for a girl’s getaway. The house is so homey and welcoming and extremely clean! The area is so peaceful and quiet. Will definitely be staying again!

Summary: If you are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of life, this house is definitely the one to rent! You are surrounded by beauty and it is extremely quiet. You are a short walk away from viewing the water and a very short drive away from the little beach. We enjoyed walking around the neighborhood and seeing all the sights. We especially enjoyed walking through the very old cemeteries as we are both into history. We also took a driving tour around the island and stopped at a few places around the island to enjoy the view. The home is VERY welcoming. As soon as I walked in, I felt right at home and relaxed. The owners have stocked the house very well with all the little odds and ends you may need. Will most definitely stay here again! Thank you for such a lovely experience!

Summary: We were going to Deal Island to visit some family. While there we did some fishing and crabbing. We had a fantastic time on the Island and are looking forward to our next visit. We will tell all of our extended family to stay in the cozy cottage. Thanks again!!

Summary: Great place to get away from the hustle and bustle. The skipjacks were showing up for the races when we were there and the small beach was a beautiful place to watch the sunset. Got to see the sika deer the first night there and it was overall a very comfortable place to stay.

Summary: Staying in Wenona was a great getaway. The house was exactly as it was depicted in the listing, and there were so many amenities both in the house and in the shed to make the stay very enjoyable. The one surprise I had was that I didn’t realize I would need to put sheets on the bed when I got there. The bed was made up with the comforter and pillows, so when I got ready to go to sleep, it was a little confusing to realize that I had to make the bed before climbing in. Otherwise, everything else was perfect and it was a great week on Deal Island!

Summary: We enjoyed the stay very much. The home is in a quiet area and close to the little beach. The use of items in the shed for fishing/crabbing was very helpful. The only downfall we had was the front door, in the afternoon the door gets so hot we had to use towels to touch the handles and the door itself without being burned. I got a small burn on my elbow from touching the door.
