Summary: We enjoyed a wonderful few days in this rambling house just perfect for a leisurely vacation - yoga on the dock, lounging in hammocks, reading on the spacious wrap-around screened porch, and standing motionless watching the sun slip behind the land in vibrant hues of red and yellow. Next time we'll stay longer!

Summary: House was clean, comfortable and well stocked. Anything I forgot to bring the house already had. Plenty of bottled water provided and appreciated. Exterior property was well groomed, lots of seating in the enclosed wraparound porch and on lawn. Fantastic dock, swam right off the dock, plenty of rafts. Most goregeous sunsets and stars. Nice, quiet town, very nice neighbors. Wifi worked great.

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this vacation home on the Nanticoke River. The house was very clean upon arrival, and well stocked with everything we needed. Our group of 4 adults and 4 children enjoyed relaxing on the screened-in porch, swimming off the dock, paddling in the kayaks, playing cornhole and stargazing at night. One word of warning is that if anyone in your group is sensitive to well water with hydrogen sulfide gas (i.e. the "rotten egg" smell) you may want to bring along some drinking water. That was really the only issue we encountered, which we solved by making a trip for some water. Everything at this house was fantastic.

Summary: We were looking for a place to relax with our family and this house was perfect! The house was very clean with plenty of games and activities. The wraparound porch was nice for meals and relaxing. The pier was great for fishing. We watched the osprey and eagles and enjoyed amazing sunsets over the River. Thank you!

Summary: We enjoyed ourselves so much. The house was more like our home. We moved in, the house was just the size we needed for 7 people and others to visit. We relaxed and had a wonderful time.

Summary: Beautiful, comfortable, and relaxing - the entire family loved our weekend in Bivalve! Everything from kayaking from the pier to family game time on the massive screened deck to enjoying a nice outdoor fire - perfect!

Summary: The house has every amenity you can think of. Spectacular views across the water from almost every room. We enjoyed the 2 kayaks, inflatable rafts, and the lawn games. We ran a little low on firewood for a week-long stay, but you can easily pick some up in town. The river was perfect for swimming and floating. This trip was our second year back, and we loved it just as much!

Summary: We had a wonderful stay at this waterfront home. Jay was friendly and helpful. We ventured to Salisbury one day and went to Assateague twice (yes, we saw horses!). But most of the time we hung out at the house - swam, lounged and read books, played tennis and basketball at the park down the street, had a bonfire and enjoyed the sunsets. We will be coming back!

Summary: Our stay at Jay’s river/bayside house was perfect. The house is open and airy with week equipped kitchen and comfortable beds with many thoughtful amenities like Durologs for the fire (a few chilly nights match with some warm days during our 10 day worcation. The front porch was popular for tea in the morning, lunch breaks and most of all the sunsets, each one unique and better than the last. As birders we watched various waterfowl, eagles and the return of the ospreys which hover nearby. Jay was very responsive with to questions during booking and while we were there highlighting the West Side Fire Departments oysters and Muskrat festival, very popular with the locals. We hope to come back in other seasons to relax and recharge.
