Summary: I’m not going to take a star off because the hotel itself is very nice, but I do think it is a little pricey. For a two night midweek stay, I didn’t expect it to be as expensive as it was. It was also a little frustrating to communicate through WhatsApp and receive AI-generated answers. While that can be convenient, not every question can be answered accurately that way, and sometimes you really need a person to respond. Parking is located about half a mile away, across the bridge and costs an additional 25 Euro per night. The price could be better considering it is off site and on a lot shared by a variety of hotels and apartments. That said, the hotel is in a great location and is close to everything. Breakfast was nice, with a good selection of breads, hard-boiled eggs, fish, cheeses, and fruit. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but I think the price could be more reasonable, especially for a midweek.

Summary: As a full time world traveller staying in many hotels around the world, this has everything! Excellent location, a couple of minutes from harbour and train station in the middle of old town. Stunning rooms with high quality fittings and decor, everything in the right place too, like plug sockets and mirrors. The breakfast was beautifully presented and very tasty. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel, it is fabulous. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Summary: This was a fresh modern yes historical charming hotel that couldn’t be more perfect. The location was ideal and the staff was kind. The bed and room were the best of our entire trip across Europe. The breakfast not so much. But the room and location were everything.
