Summary: Thank you for letting us enjoy your beautiful property. We had a GREAT time and everything was perfect. Everything was clean, organized, and all kinds of labels to help with what everything is and goes. Everything worked like it should have. And the sunset at night was epic. It was a perfect short term get away before all the kids go back to school. The owners clearly have being a VRBO host down to a science. Thanks again!

Summary: Good property. We did enjoy the stay. The only comment I would make is that the arrival and especially the the departure required way more work than I would have expected of a guest, specifically having to put all cushions for the the outsider sectional on, then having to try and fit all the cushions back in garbage bags and jam them into a container on the side of the house. I also was required to remove all bedding for every room that was slept in. We also had to take all a trash out to the trash bin before leaving. I use Vrbo for a property I have and it comes with housekeeping at no additional charge as it should be. This might be an exception for this property but that alone would stop me from doing this house again

Summary: We are a group of women who have known each other since childhood, and we go on a getaway every summer, so we've stayed in a lot of vacation rentals. This house stands out because it is so nicely decorated and appointed with all the comforts and necessities. Other rental houses are never used by the owners, and you can tell. This house has everything you need in the kitchen and bathrooms, as if you were staying in a friend's home. The deck is huge, and has a nice table for having dinner, and a comfy sofa and firepit for evenings. The private dock at the house has kayaks and a stand up paddle board, which we used and enjoyed. There are also noodles and vests for just floating in the water. One day we rented a pontoon boat from CBs rentals in the marina. (They no longer rent jet skis due to insurance.) Overall, it was a great stay in a beautiful, comfortable home.

Summary: We stayed at this beautiful house for 3 days for a family reunion. Everything about the home was perfect for us and exactly as described. The kitchen was equipped with all we needed. The bedrooms were perfect and we ended up using a blow-up bed for one of our grandkids and she loved the bed. The patio is inviting and the furniture was perfect for sitting out in the morning and evening. We were surprised how quiet the neighborhood was in the morning and evening. It was just beautiful at night, sitting on the patio and reflecting on life's events. It was a very nice play to stay. I highly recommend it. I have only positive things to say.

Summary: We have a great experience in this beautiful home! The neighborhood is very good, quiet and friendly environment! The deck view is gorgeous. Our family felt very relaxed. The host provided everything we need for staying, such as lots of kitchen and bathroom supplies. The host is very thoughtful and considerate. The communication is very fast. The house is nicely decorated. We have an amazing experience in this place. We hope to use it again.

Summary: My 4 siblings and our husbands wanted to spend Thanksgiving with our parents who live in Antioch so this property was ideal. The owners were very easy to work with and kind enough to let us arrive a few hours earlier than the typical check in time. We all drove from Southern California and really appreciated this. The pictures in the listing do a good job showing the property and amenities and we were very much looking forward to relaxing on the beautiful deck. Upon arrival we were very disappointed by the condition of the outdoor spaces of this property. It was extremely dirty with spider webs and spider nests all over the furniture and cushions. The deck was very dirty and the railings had large cobwebs as well. We grabbed the broom and went to work trying our best to make it useable but it was impossible without a power washer and/or blower/vacuum. We went to Walmart and bought sheets to drape over the furniture so we could sit on it. I did call Ruth to ask if the cleaning people forgot to clean and she told me they don’t clean outside during this time of year. The outside deck was a huge reason for choosing this property so having that information in the description would have been very helpful. I did receive a message the day before arrival saying they had a black ant infestation and the cleaners were going to be there early on our day of arrival to clean up. We didn’t see any ants upon arrival but day two brought an army of ants into the laundry room and downstairs bathroom. We found the Raid spray in the garage and took care of it. We made the best of an unpleasant situation and enjoyed our stay at this property. Our parents in Antioch are elderly and we visit often. Their home is very small so when we gather with everyone we need a larger space, we’d love to use this property again but would not want the work that goes with with.
