Relax beneath 80 beautiful palm trees in your own private water front oasis. There’s nothing like it!
It's a perfect place to sit back and watch the water life. In the evening stroll down the beautiful floral walkway through pink oleanders. Relax on the dock with your glass of wine or umbrella drinks and enjoy the wonderful sunsets and wildlife. There’s white and blue heron, ducks, geese, otters, and even a white pelican or seal from time to time. Bring your camera and binoculars!
The 40’ private dock has plenty of room to tie up your boats and watercraft. The dock is just 100 feet from ‘fast water’ where delta boat speeds are unlimited! The dock is also right across from Lido Beach. It’s a small tidal island where people hang out. The beach is easy to swim to or you can use the two included kayaks. Bring along your stand up paddle boards if you have them - highly recommended.
If you’re into fishing this will be paradise. Cast off with your favorite rig right from the dock. Fishermen travel from all over just to fish right here! It's a favorite spot for the locals and a great place to catch largemouth bass all year. The kayak has a pole holder if you want to go explore. An inexpensive fishing license is recommended.
The property includes a huge waterfront grass lawn - very rare in Discovery Bay. Lawn toys include croquet, horse shoes, bocce ball, Frisbee, and more! Bring your baseball mitts and other favorite yard toys. There’s a full size pool and huge wrap around deck with plenty of lounge areas. Don’t forget your pool floats!
The home is cottage style and overlooks the pool, lawn, dock, Lido Island, and the delta waterways. You’ll enjoy watching all the outdoor activities from the large cool living area inside the home. Panoramic water views are shared across the open kitchen with wrap around counter seating, expandable dining table (seats 8), and comfy gliding lounge chairs. If you need to sneak in some computer time there’s a desk and Dell monitor right there too.
The home is a 3 bedroom, two bath single story ranch - no stairs. It includes 900Mb wifi internet which will handle all the devices your group may need. A new Samsung Smart TV and HDMI connector gives you many options to login to all your online TV and computer apps. Separate Bluetooth television speakers are available for wireless connections to your smart devices. In 2022 a new dishwasher, garbage disposal, water heater, air conditioner, washer and dryer and other updates were installed with extended warranty.

• Back yards in the middle of Discovery Bay are waterfront on a small lake - no access to fast water
• Point lots are best as they provide much more privacy and wider water frontage
• East and north facing homes (back yards) are best to avoid baking in the long afternoon sun
• Street location is not too important - everything in Discovery Bay is easily accessible by bicycle
• Be sure there is enough driveway parking to fit all your cars (keeps the neighbors happy)

Summary: This house was very clean, great property with everything you need. The boat dock was so nice to tie up to and be about the closest house to "fast" water. The only thing that threw us off a little, was that the 4 twin beds are just floor mats, but the kids were fine. Over all a great stay and great location and we will be back!

Summary: Finding a place that pleases everyone in our family isn't easy. We're a diverse group, ages 10 to 63, with very different ideas of what a great "get-away" looks like. But we found it here. The home and property are well layed out providing private space for anyone wanting to be off on their own AND group spaces that easily accommodated our family of 10. The yard is creatively planned. There is a grassy area - perfect for lawn games and bare feet. There are multiple deck levels around the pool and BBQ that offer seating and sun bathing. There is a stunning walkway to the dock, lined with palm trees and flowering plants that absolutely makes you feel like you're in Hawaii. The best thing about the layout of the grounds is that each area gives the feeling of privacy while still being visible from the house with just a few steps right or left. So the teens & the 10yo felt like they were on their own, away from "the old people", while I was able to easily check on them, from the house, without intruding! The property manager was accommodating and flexible. She was quick to reply to each of my texts and easily answered any questions I had. You would have to look far & wide to find a better view of the sunrise and sunset then the one you'll see here looking across the pooI out onto the delta. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to relax & unwind OR swim, fish & go boating!

Summary: We enjoyed our stay at Paradise Point. The communication was great with the owner and property manager, the house was clean and in a great location. If you are into water sports, there is plenty to do. The kids enjoyed catching blue gill and crappie from the dock. We had a great time and would definitely return. Just some observations we had, but they were in no way a deal breaker: The beach across the way is a fun spot, but popular and at times could be a little loud. Even though the property and private dock are in the slow water, wake from the fast creates moderate waves at times. Specific to our visit and no fault of the owners, the house next door is being remodeled. Work begins at 7am and could be a little loud, but hopefully this is completed by the time you visit. Would definitely return and recommend to friends.

Summary: We brought our family of 5 and my parents to stay at Paradise Point for 4 nights and had an absolute blast. Eric was incredibly communicative through the check-in process and had a property manager available for any questions/needs. This property has the perfect location location - very close to fast water and a beach right across the water way. I would stay here again and highly recommend it for anyone who enjoys the delta living experience!

Summary: This is our second time staying at this property and it really does feel like paradise. The house is very comfortable and has a well stocked kitchen to make meal preps easy. The backyard is so beautiful with many palm trees that offered much needed shade. The pool and hot tub were well maintained and so much fun for the kids and adults. We used the 2 kayaks and played cornhole on the lawn every day. The location, being so close to fast water, made it so easy to go out on our boat and back to the house for lunch. Eric and Alina are both great communicators and welcoming. We will definitely rent this property again soon.
